🎓 A Huge Milestone for the Spokane Orthodontics Family! 🎉

We are beyond proud to announce that Dr. Alexa Spokane has officially graduated from orthodontic school! This week, she walked in her graduation ceremony while family and friends cheered loudly for her as she completed this incredible achievement! The graduation ceremony was followed by a party to honor such a meaningful milestone.

And the excitement doesn’t stop there… Dr. Alexa Spokane will be officially joining Spokane & Karski Orthodontics this January! 🙌
That’s right - Dr. Spokane 2.0 is coming, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome her into the practice.

✨ Transformation Tuesday ✨ Featuring Angelo! 🤩 When Angelo first came to our practice, his main concern was his crooked central tooth that overlapped the other. Aside from aesthetics, it made keeping the area clean difficult. Oral hygiene is always easier when teeth are properly aligned.

After a round of braces - look at Angelo's smile now! Wow! 🙌 We love this before and after transformation! Orthodontics is so much more than straight teeth. It brings good health and confidence, too!

🎉 Happy 60th Birthday, Dr. Spokane! 🎉 We had a blast celebrating this big milestone today! 6️⃣0️⃣ We kicked off the morning with surprise shirts made just for the occasion, and the fun kept going with a lunch party of chicken salads, presents, and of course… cupcakes! 🧁😋

We’re sharing some of our favorite photos from the day, including our staff picture, present-opening, and Dr. Spokane posing proudly with his giant “60” balloons.

If you know Dr. Spokane, you know he’s the one who keeps everyone laughing all day with his jokes and sense of humor. He’s full of personality, incredible at what he does, and an all-around awesome leader! 💯 Our team adores him, and his patients appreciate the care and dedication he brings every single day. He is one-in-a-million and we are so lucky to have him! 🥰

✨ Transformation Tuesday ✨ Jacob came to us with big spaces, an overbite, and lateral teeth that were crooked and flared out. Looks challenging, but it's nothing some braces and rubber bands can't handle! 😤

We are so proud of Jacob's commitment to wearing his rubber bands! 👏 They are tough to get used to at first, but they are so important to an orthodontic treatment plan.

Jacob has an amazing smile for life that will bring him not just confidence, but functional benefits as well. Congratulations, Jacob! 🎉

This Veterans Day, we honor Melvin “Bunny” Cooper, Dr. Spokane’s grandfather and a proud member of the U.S. Army’s 29th Infantry Division, 116th Infantry Regiment - the same division that landed on Omaha Beach during D-Day in 1944. 🪖 This victory shot shows the vehicle and white star on the side used to indicate a "friendly" that was on the same side.

Melvin's unit fought across Normandy, France, and into Germany, helping to liberate Europe during World War II. The 29th Division faced some of the heaviest combat of the war and played a key role in the Allied victory. 💫

We remember Melvin “Bunny” Cooper and all who served for their courage, sacrifice, and dedication to freedom. ❤️🇺🇸

Before braces, Aubrey’s canines had erupted high and out of the arch. But with some orthodontics, we brought everything beautifully into line.
