Welcome…In March of 1998 Noll Funeral Home, Inc., of Beaver was founded. Two years later, Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home of Midland was purchased and added as a branch location.

“Service…My grandfather, Pete Noll owned and operated a service station in Brighton Township during the 1950’s. Can you imagine if he were to return today what he would think? Where my grandfather or one of his employees would once walk to the car, lift the hood, check oil, wash windows, and pump the gas, today the customer has to do all of that by themselves! Times sure have changed…”

Owner Mark Noll refuses to accept this change. He continues to operate these funeral facilities based on the logo “More Service Than You Expect”. Unlike many companies today that reduce their amount of service, Noll/Schwerha Funeral Homes continue to increase theirs. We pride ourselves on meeting all needs of the families we serve. Some examples are assisting families with Social Security benefits, Veterans benefits and car title transfers. These tasks can sometimes seem overwhelming to a grieving family and it is our job to continue the assistance no matter if it is six days or six months after a funeral. During the Christmas holiday season, memorial trees are placed in the homes that are decorated with tribute ornaments for each family served during the year. Assistance through the funeral process is imperative for a grieving family. At Noll/Schwerha we want to make sure that each family receives everything they need during this difficult time.

A talented athlete, he earned a place on the All-WPIAL second team as a tight end and received a scholarship to Muskingum University. However, in a selfless act of love, he chose to forgo his education to care for his mother and younger brother, Ivan, following his father’s passing.
Andy worked for 17 years as a bartender at the Welcome Café in Midland, but he was best known as a master butcher and the proud owner of Andy’s Market, a cornerstone of the Midland community. Known for his generosity, Andy never let anyone leave his store hungry. To his many great-nieces and nephews, he was affectionately known as “Uncle Candy.”
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Andy was a mentor and role model to many—especially his brother Ivan, his son and best friend Andrew, and his grandsons John and Michael, whom he “coached” both in sports and in life. His tireless work ethic and sense of humor inspired all who knew him, especially his first employees and nieces, Carolyn and Andrea.
In retirement, Andy continued to serve his community as a board member for the Midland Water Authority and as a volunteer usher at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center. He also remained an active member of St. Augustine Parish (St. Blaise Worship Site).
Andy never met a stranger. He was known for his warm smile, his trademark “Yeah, man!” greeting, and his unwavering kindness. His presence brought light and laughter to every room, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.
Friends will be received Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 629 Midland Ave., Midland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, November 14, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine Parish, St. Blaise Church, Midland. Burial will follow at Beaver Cemetery. “You set an example and a standard so high I’ll never be able to reach it, but for loving you, I’ll never get tired of trying. I have had many coaches and mentors in my life, but none was as great as you. You are my hero.”
— Andrew Toncic, Jr.

Robert Vojtko, 69, of Midland, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 3, 2025, after a long battle with cancer. Born on March 26,1956, in Rochester, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Anna (Kisasonak) Vojtko.

Rob retired from Industry Terminal and Salvage Company, where he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator. When he wasn’t running the loader at work, he could be found at Josephine's, sitting in front of the slot machine, as a way to wind down. In his healthier years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brother Johnny and friends. He couldn’t pass up a good sale, and after scanning the grocery store ads, would use a tank of gas to get a good deal and save a dollar. He also enjoyed visiting the farmer’s market for peppers and onions. As his health declined, he was lovingly cared for by his older sisters Laura and Dolly. Though he never had children of his own, he loved watching the antics of all of his nieces and nephews, and quietly hanging out with his family.

In addition to his parents, Rob was preceded in death by his sister, Frances Deem-Atkinson, brothers-in-law George Deem, Sr., Donald Brunner, and Mike Caffro, Sr., nephews TJ Bushmier, Thomas Thornton, II, and Troy Brunner, and most recently, his twin sister Rosie Emerick. He is survived by his sisters Dolly Caffro, Laura Brunner, Lori Palluch (Bob), JoAnn Hart (Mark), his brother John Vojtko (Dodo), and brother-in-law James Emerick, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Professional Arrangements have been entrusted to the Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver, PA 15009. Online condolences may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com.

The family of Rob would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Gallagher Hospice, Dr. Lebowicz, and Dr. Pennock for the love and compassion care given to him during his time with them.
