Physicians belong in every room where decisions about health are being made. 🩺🏛️

Today, Dr. Emily Artz (R2) represented us boldly at the U.S. Capitol; pictured here with the president of the AAFP and the senator for Ohio. She carried with her the voices of our patients, the stories of our exam rooms, and the urgent call for policies that protect health and dignity.

Healthcare doesn’t stop at the clinic door—and neither should we. From exam tables to Senate floors, we must continue to advocate for safer systems, better access, and a future where patient care is guided by compassion, science, and equity.

To our transitional year residents: we’re beyond proud to have been part of your journey. As you head into your dream specialties, know that you carry with you the foundation of excellence, compassion, and resilience you built here.
