Kihyon Sohn Acupuncture Dr Kihyon Sohn, acupuncturist and herbalist in Beaverton Hillsdale, provides effective treatments It was in Korea that he first encountered east Asian medicine.

Kihyon Sohn obtained a master's degree (MAcOM) at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM). To satisfy his desire for deeper knowledge, he took doctorate degree program at the same college. He achieved DAOM, which is Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. For the Capstone project, he wrote "Journey into Korean Moxibustion". Luckily, he had a chance to study a unique treatment technique utilizing acupuncture and moxibustion. Dr Namsoo Kim (Gudang) developed it throughout his long years' clinical experience. The technique focuses on holistic treatments to improve energy and restore the natural healing power. It works pretty well for many illnesses. His acupuncture skills originate from Korean four needle technique called Saam Acupuncture, which he studied in Korea. Dr Sohn treats patients using Korean style acupuncture. He deals with energy channels called meridians according to pulse presentations.
