Upcoming Grand Water Trine Dec 6-7, 2025
Mercury is about to make its 3rd pass to activate the Grand Water Trine, which also involves Jupiter and Saturn. Jupiter and Mercury will be at 24°08’ Cancer/Scorpio respectively & Saturn at 25°13’ Pisces.

Jupiter and Saturn didn't perfect their trine in November, but they did get within 1/6 of a degree during that month of a trine. Mercury's involvement in these Grand Trines bring in the element of the mind's connection with the feelings of the element of water.

In a Grand Water Trine, it is all about the balance of feelings within each of us. Trines are considered "soft" aspects and tend not to provide strong motivations to accomplish goals in life. Their not exactly neutral, but they can help an otherwise chaotic environment to level off for a short while.

However, immediately after the Grand Water Trine ends, Mars moves into a square with Saturn on December 8. This is an intense aspect that may overrun the Grand Water Trine period of Dec 6-7.

The element of water helps humanity get in touch with their feelings, their heart and empathy, passion and respensible care for ourselves and loved ones. This element assists us in stepping beyond the mind's hold of logic into feeling our feelings and also knowing the feelings of others. With Mercury in Scorpio, there is an additional layer of energy that is all about vitality and aliveness.

My sense about this trine is it is about the relative calm before the storm. Saturn and Neptune will experience squares with Mars, Sun, Mercury and Venus all this month up to an including January 1, 2026.

Super Full Moon December 4, 2025
Tomorrow, December 4, 2025 is our next Full Moon, which is also the 3rd Super Full Moon in a row. This Full Moon takes place at 13°03’ Gemini at 3:13 pm PST near the star Aldebaran.

At this Full Moon, we are tapping into the region of the sky within what is known as the Sacred Hoop of Stars. The star Aldebaran, the Eye of the Bull constellation, is a strong part of that Sacred Hoop. This Sacred Hoop of STars contains many of the most well-known and bright stars in the sky, but also itself is a gateway (Silver Gate) from outside the galaxy for souls to enter into the Milky Way.

Aldebaran is also a portal to the mysteries of the mind and when balanced with the fixed star Antares (nearly exactly opposite Aldebaran), which is a portal to the mysteries of the heart, we have a powerful stargate axis.

The Gemini Full Moon will also square the Lunar Nodes as the "bending" or inbetween each of the Nodes. It means this Full Moon forms a temporary bridge between the past and a future that has yet to arrive.

The Sabian Symbol 14° Gemini is ”Two people, at widely different points, are in conversation with each other by means of telepathy”. Keywords include: “Conquering space and time limitations. Psychic and mental communication. Sharing and thinking the same ideas. Knowing what is felt or thought by others. Feeling connected regardless of physical contact. Being on the same frequency. An Interpretation of this is about our mental connections with others and being able to operate in the physical space (and not forget to care for it and ourselves) while overcoming distance to communicate. I believe this also relates to our profound reliance on electronic communication.

Beyond this, the stirrings of the Full Moon highlight the Gemini curiosity, desire to learn and know all there is, youthful imagination and creative word-play and a sense of our various roles/masks we wear thoughout our life.

My December Astrology Forecast is here!
I'm excited to share my recent astrological forecast for December. There is a transition of Sun, Mars and Venus into the sign of Capricorn. And there are a series of squares between the Sun, Mars and Venus and Mercury with Saturn and Neptune as well throughout the month.

We have a Super Full Moon on December 4 and Neptune stations direct on December 10. There are 2 major periods to watch out for: Dec 4-11 and Dec 14-21.

Mercury Stations Direct Nov 29, 2025
We have reached the end of retrograding Mercury. That planet stations direct on Nov 29, 2025 at 9:38 am PST at 20° 42’ Scorpio.

Mercury retrograde loop back through a portion of Scorpio has certainly helped to created a deeper look within along with some challenges with technologies and communications with others. Mercury stationing direct does not necessarily stop all issues in the world.

This station direct point is a moment of stillness for humanity. It is a time to take our own moments and look deep into our own mirrors for our soul's reflection. We can inquire as to what we see in that reflection beyond the physical body and behind the eyes as well. This is a mind-soul interface.

Mercury will slowly make its way back from Scorpio to Sagittarius again, ingressing to thatsign on December 11. During this transit of Mercury, there will be another Grand Water Trine on Dec 6-7 with Jupiter and Saturn (repeating the aspect from Nov 16-17), then will trine Neptune on Dec 10.

Mercury won't go retrograde again until Feb 25, 2026, which is the most important month of 2026.

Saturn Stations Direct on Nov 27, 2025
The ringed planet will resume its regular, direct motion on Nov 27, 2025 at 25°09’ Pisces, less than 4 degrees from Neptune (also in Pisces).

Saturn’s loop back through a part of Pisces is reaching a turning point, looping back in a forward direction toward the sign of Aries.

Saturn’s journey back into Pisces has brought back a focus upon the limits of our heart’s desires to bring our vision into reality. We’re in the stillness of Saturn’s reformation of spirit and the process needed to be at-one-ment with the greater Universe.

There is a sense with this station point in Pisces that things will begin to develop toward the greater goals that were set up prior to July, going back to the summer of 2024 as well when Saturn and Neptune in Pisces got within 11 degrees of each other. That was the pre-echo of what these 2 planets have in store for us.

It's showing us humanity's heart vulnerability with both an inner conflict of illusion/reality and hope/hopelessness. This forward motion of Saturn won't fully express itself until after Neptune stations direct on Dec 10. The build up, however, is commencing toward the Saturn-Neptune conjunction on Feb 20, 2026. We are in the midst of a "shake-up" and the stronger expression of that will be in 2026.

This last round (both from Neptune and Saturn) in the sign of Pisces will be about waking up from dream-reality into a focus of purposeful reality in Aries. Neptune re-ingresses into Aries Jan 26 and Saturn on Feb 13, 2026.

Venus enters the hidden or underworld Nov 25, 2025
On Nov 25, Venus reaches within 10° of the Sun at 24°14' Scorpio. In the shamanic astrology system, this is the point where Venus enters the "underworld".

There are two types of "underworld" for Venus and 2 times when it becomes hidden in the glare of the Sun in its synodic cycle of 584 days. One where it is direct motion (The Sun is between Earth and Venus) and the 2nd kind is when Venus is retrograding motion into the underworld (when Venus is between the Earth and the Sun). We are in the time where Venus is direct. This is a significantly longer underworld period and will go from Nov 25 to Feb 17.

Venus' regular pattern every 584 days or about 19 months includes a time when it effectively "disappears" from the sky to the unaided eye. 10 degrees is a general guideline when it come to Venus' visibility as there are time under exceptional conditions where Venus can be seen at 6-8 degrees from the Sun. But those are not common, especially for the majority of humanity. This "underworld" period can last at least 2 1/2 months or more depending upon viewing conditions.

In shamanic astrology, the underworld is the time of shamanic surrender, death/rebirth, transformation and facing of fears. But it is also a time where we find our soul's treasures. Metaphorically, we are digging deep into the dark find the gold and we must face denizens within to do that.

This underworld period of Venus happens to coincide with Mars also on the "other side" of the Sun. The period from December 18 to January 28, Venus and Mars will be within 10 degrees of each, which is part of their cyclical dance together in the sky. But we won't be able to catch it when they conjunct on Jan 7, 2026 due to the glare of the Sun.

This period of Venus in the underworld will take us to the end of Scoprio, through Sagittarius, Capricorn and Aquarius before becoming visible in the early evening sky in Pisces on February 17.

In addition, this period of "surrender" for Venus has been noticed for many thousands of years. It traces back to the ancient times of Sumer and before, following the pre-cursor to Venus, Inanna.

Sun-Uranus Opposition and Sun in Sagittarius
Nov 21 is a big day, following the recent New Moon in Scorpio and Mercury retrograde in Scorpio. The Sun moves into opposition with Uranus at 29˚26’ Scorpio/Ta**us at 4:25 am PST and then the Sun ingresses into the sign of Sagittarius at 5:35 pm PST, just 13 hours later.

Anytime a retrograde planet is in opposition with the Sun, that planet is halfway through its retrograde period. Uranus is now at that place.

The Sun-Uranus opposition is about reflecting upon our material and self-worth due to Uranus being in the sign of Ta**us (until April 25, 2026). We can tune in to our inner guides to become more aware of our values. What do we value within and what is our relationship to the material things in our lives?

Another part of the Sun-Uranus oppostion can relate to the unexpected or suprises that may occur in the world. This aspect can increase chances of something suprising happening for humanity and if we are in a personal Uranus transit, for us as well.

The Sun then moves on and ingresses into the sign of Sagittarius. The Sun will still be within one degree of the Uranus opposition at the time of ingress, so Uranus will still be influential in the very beginning of the Sun in Sagittarius.

The Sun in Sagittarius is a season of exploration, adventure and the seeking of truth and meaning beyond what is conventional and material. Sagittarius is the archetype of the Seeker, Philosopher, Explorer, Adventurer, Traveler, Hunter and Spiritual Questor.

Sagittarius is bold, shines a torch for hope in the future and lives to see what the dawn brings.

This archetypal energy of Sagittarius is combining with Mars in Sagittarius as well. This may help move things along in our world and help us be brave enough to enter into new territories in our own lives along with humanity. For those with some personal planets in Sagittarius, this may be a little spark/jolt of energy to get started on projects, travel or other explorations.

The Sun will remain in Sagittarius until December 21st (Solstice).

New Moon in Scoprio Nov 19, 2025
This New Moon takes place at 10:47 pm PST on Nov 19, 2025 at 28°11’ Scorpio. Uranus in Ta**us will be in opposition to the New Moon and Mercury, currently retrograding at 28°27’ Scorpio will be conjunct the New Moon.

This combination can be a bit volitile, especially with Uranus in the mix. Scorpio is an intense archetype that tends to catalyze the deep, darker stuff around and within us. This New Moon can be a blow up as one version and an attempt at burying things even deeper on another (and potentially at the same time).

It'll be more difficult to keep things on the "down low" with this New Moon and its adjoining planets in aspect to it. But at the same time, Neptune has a close trine to the New Moon, promising some confusion and illusion along with a lack of stability. But a trine aspect could portend some watery flow that helps people with spiritual and emotional nourishment.

The Sabian Symbol for this New Moon is 29 Scorpio. It's expressed as “A Native woman pleads to the Chief for the lives of her children”. Keywords are: “Patterns of family dominance. Pleading one’s cause. Seeking love, mercy and forgiveness. Asking higher powers to step in, help or heal. Intercession. Counseling. Protecting the younger ones. Family law courts, magistrates, lawyers. Divorce. Young people taken seriously. Guilt and innocence. Weaving words to a desired outcome. Intervention. Schools. Juvenile delinquents. This can be interpreted as the need for due process and compassion along with fighting for the rights of others. This is about standing up and being heard. In this current climate we live in, it is very important to not give up in speaking out when one is wronged or simply to defend our loved ones. Our voices matter but so does love and compassion as well.

Mercury Retrogrades back into Scorpio Nov 18
Our celebrated and fast-moving planet is regressing back into the sign of Scorpio today, November 18, 2025

This return back to the sign of Scorpio will help to intensify the drive to open up the box of secrets and where the power is located. Mercury in Scorpio allows us to communicate in a way where we do more digging for the raw energetic truths in our own lives.

Mercury in Scoprio is also a way to practice patience when we are feeling a need to be reactive and take some type of action. It is a time for us to BREATHE in and out with deliberation, feeling our life force in the action of breathing. Mercury is air for the mind but also in some regard air for the body as well.

Scorpio as an astrological sign/archetype is, in part, about our relationship with power (powerlessness, giving away power and stepping into our own power). It is a time we can review that relationship.

And even after Mercury stations direct on Nov 29, we may be able to take action based upon what we discovered with our review of our relationship to power.

Mercury will be opposite Uranus on Nov 19 at 29°31’ Sco/Tau (2nd of 3 times) and trine Neptune, then will be part of the Grand Water Trine on Nov 21 and 22 during this part of its transit. Mercury will remain in the sign of Scoprio until December 11th.

Our Next Water Grand Trine is almost here
The Sun in Scorpio will be activating the next chapter of the Water Grand Trine on the 16th and 17th with Jupiter in Cancer and Saturn in Pisces.

The Grand Trine will be on the 25th degree of the water signs and only be less than 4 hours apart from the Sun/Jupiter trine and Sun/Saturn trine. This is a VERY close to exact Grand Trine, therefore very rare as well.

When does the Grand Trine happen?
Nov 15 - 18, 2025 within 1 degree of the Grand Trine
Exact Trines in the larger Grand Trine:
Nov 16 (9:07 pm PST) - 25°06’ Sco/Cancer Sun-Jupiter Trine
Nov 17 (12:55 am PST- 25°15’ Sco/Pisces Sun-Saturn Trine

These trines and the larger Grand Trine pattern that has been active since October when Mars and Mercury began the initiation. This is a shorter period of what the much larger and longer period of Jupiter an Saturn are doing as a pattern.

Saturn and Jupiter played a very big role in helping to set the table for humanity back in 2020 when they came close together during the year (with Pluto) and finally conjuncting on December 21, 2020 at 00°29’ Aquarius.

All that went down in 2020 and early 2021 reached a "quarter-turn" in 2024-25 when Saturn and Jupiter squared 3 times. But those planets have now reached the early stage of the trine period, which will continue in August, 2026 when Saturn in Aries trines Jupiter in Leo (their first of 3 exact trines for the period of 2025-27).

This month, Jupiter stationed retrograde on Nov 11 at 25°09’ Cancer while Saturn will station direct on Nov 27 at 25°09’ Pisces. This is another very rare alignment with station points occuring at the same degree and minute 16 days apart. There is definitely a strong message being sent.

The stuff that occured in 2020 into 2021 seeded what is happening now, especially in the Dec 2020 / Jan 2021 period. This is a point now through July 2027 (in combination with the other big transits of Uranus in Gemini and Neptune in Aries and Pluto in Aquarius and Chiron in Aries/Ta**us) where the flow of what is happening could be at its strongest. This means there is more opportunities for things to work out together in this polarized climate before the 2029-31 period of the Jupiter-Saturn oppositions take place. However, I don't forecast this will be easy due to the other planetary aspects taking place.

Boiled down, this is a chance to come into a greater refinement of our roles currently or become more open to another role we've been putting off for various reasons. Where in life can we contribute the most? WIll it feel fulfilling? How can we keep building upon what we have already seeded?

Mercury will trine Jupiter and Saturn a second time on November 21-22 and a 3rd time Dec 6-7. That means there is more time to work with this watery flow currently in motion.
