We’re thrilled to announce that Mountainside Veterinary Hospital is moving into a new, much larger space on May 11th, 2026!

The new building is up Scholls Ferry at 12655 SW North Dakota St (Tigard). It's just a little over a mile from our current location, so swing by and peek in the windows if you’re in the neighborhood 👋

🩺🐕️ We will continue seeing patients at our current location until May 6th. The hospital will be closed May 7th-10th as the final pieces make their way into the new building. We’ll reopen for our regular business hours Monday, May 11th in the new space!

Baby Boy Benny is all grown up and was here for his neuter and gastropexy! 😍 His wagging tail says it all: Benny loves visiting his friends at Mountainside 💛

For large and giant breed dogs like this handsome Irish Setter/Pyrenees mix, preventative gastropexy can prevent "bloat," a life-threatening condition where the stomach dilates with gas and/or fluid and then twists on itself.

The only thing better than one scruffy pup? Is TWO scruffy pups! 😍

The very dignified Professor Olmsted and his new brother, Freddie, were here for their heartworm tests, parasite screening, and kennel cough vaccines.

Spring is in full swing and we're already seeing mosquitos, ticks, and fleas (oh my!) in the clinic. Now's the time to get your pet up-to-date on parasite prevention for a fun-filled summer 🏕️☀️

Office ambassador Ollie here with an important message! 📣

As a full-service hospital, we have the ability to see same-day and urgent appointments. This could include everything from minor illnesses and concerns to more urgent situations.

When your pet is sick or injured, our team can triage and provide supportive care, making sure they get the very best care possible, when they need it most.

In the rare event that we’re unable to see your pet, our team can help triage their condition over the phone and coordinate referral to a local urgent care or emergency clinic!

Cora being the very best patient for Dr. Thrower! 😍 This 6-year-old sweetie was in to have her ears checked. Because of their floppy ears and love of water, labradors are at higher risk for both bacterial and yeast infections in the ear 👂️

A vet visit is always a good idea with itchy ears! In-house cytology allows us to get to the root of the problem and recommend the very best treatment possible!
