From our family to yours, Happy Easter!
I am reaching out with a few updates and changes at the office :)!
Upcoming Appointment Availability
I am still upholding a larger gap between client appointments, to help facilitate the extra cleaning and prep involved with our COVID-19 protocols. That does mean that I am keeping the more limited schedule of 3 appointments per day going forward. This makes it a bit harder to schedule and I apologize that it can take a bit to get in to see me.
April and May are scheduling out now, and I would love to see you! Please message me to schedule, or you can use our online scheduler located on our website :)!
Reminders
There has been a few issues that have sporadically popped up since Square transitioned to its new membership tiers. I apologize for any inconvenience that have popped up in regards to the reminders not going out how they did prior. I reset it today and everyone who provided an email will receive a reminder 2 hours before their appointment time, and everyone who provided a cell phone number will receive a text 24 hours prior to their appointment time.
Mask Changes
The Oregon Board of Massage Therapists (OBMT), our local governing body, has released an update for masking in regards to massage. It states that medical massage and those practicing in medical offices should remain masked; but that those who are in non-medical settings are not required to. I am happy to provide the whole memo to anyone who would like to see it for clarification.
We are still following OHA recommendations, and all other COVID-19 protocols we have implemented will remain in place. In regards to masks I am speaking with each person to determine what their needs and wants are, and plan on honoring that. Massage is not meant to be scary, and I know everyone has strong feelings that I want to make sure are heard and respected. So please let me know prior to your appointment, or when you come in what would make you the most comfortable.
As a quick reminder, our property management company does ask that you do mask in public spaces and while entering and exiting the building.
I am wishing everyone a very wonderful week, full of love and light! I cannot thank you enough for your patience as we transition to a new stage during the Pandemic.
Big hugs,
Stephanie
