Good morning, Thursday. It appears that the hype about spotting a white deer in Scotland maybe correct. My reasoning? I give you the . . . "Fairy cattle of the Cailleach!!" Could the fairies be on their way? If our back yard here at the shoppe is any indication, then, YES! No toadstools/mushrooms were here when we left work yesterday and now . . . . So, make your wishes known. And come out to see our yard, and maybe do a bit of shopping, too. ;)

Hello November. I hope everyone's Halloween/Samhain was more than just a soggy day, and that it was filled with many blessings. I saw a video this morning of a family coming in from a delightful night of trick or treating, and as they did so, the mom was taking down all of the spooky decor and replacing it with Christmas items behind their backs. Once dad came out from seeing the kiddos to bed, he was greeted with a smiling wife holding out a holiday mug of hot chocolate and greeting him with C;hristmas cheer.

I thought, yeah, sounds like a solid plan. Let's just bypass Thanksgiving and go straight to Yule. But after a few moments, an unseen voice said, but don't you have things for which your grateful? Don't you feel that despite some setbacks, you have been granted other blessings?

You are correct! Forgive the flippant attitude. I've been properly chastised and will now act, decorate and offer acknowledments of appreciation for even the smallest blessings.
