Hey everyone! It has been a while since I last posted but I just wanted to give everyone a little life update! Both my horses and myself have settled back in to Minnesota and have been keeping busy. I am officially open again for massage appointments starting immediately! Being that it is county fair season I am also offering a special sale for all 4H participants where they can get 15% off a massage for their horses! As some may know this week has been a disaster for me. I made the very difficult choice to leave North Dakota due to some personal issues. I headed back home to Minnesota where I will be working and living until further notice. I will miss North Dakota, and all of the wonderful people I have met along the way, greatly. I thank each and every one of you for your continued support through everything!

The horses were not a fan of the heavy rain last night so they got to warm up and dry off in the arena for a while!

Nova got some well deserved attention tonight! She has been getting some time off since her leg injury and tonight I felt like she had improved enough to do some light work with her. She got a good brushing and fresh braids put in then she put in a little workout time. She worked on the lunge line until I got the itch to hop on her...bareback....this was her 3rd ever ride.... it went much better than I was expecting! She was doing so great that I asked her to walk over some ground poles, one of the poles touched her leg and sent her into a bucking spree and sent me flying off of her. I am okay, a little bruised up though. I brushed the dirt off and hopped right back on. She went back over the poles with no further fuss and we called that a good ending for the night. Nights like these make me very excited for the future with this horse!

Took the ponies out on a little field trip to the outdoor arena to stretch their legs today! They both did so great! Nova is doing much better with different environments and Gypsy did excellent with even I threw at her, especially considering it was our first time doing large arena work this year(yikes i know) I am so grateful for these two amazing mares and the opportunities they give me!

Miss Diamond got a full hour massage session with me today! She is headed off to go camping tomorrow so we wanted her feeling her absolute best for the ride! She was showing a little soreness in her left tensor fascia latea along with her left brachiocephalicus so I gave those areas a lot of attention! She was such a great girl the entire time, and even ended up dozing off a little bit! Thank you Jo Swartz for having me out!

I got to work on Ms.Sugar today! She has been experiencing some pain and tightness in her neck and shoulders after a small trip a few weeks ago. I mostly focused on her deltoids and triceps along with her trapezius. I also stretched both her front legs and shoulders! She was showing us all great signs that she was enjoying the massage by licking her lips! Thank you Dana Kay Olafson for having me out to work on your pretty girl!

What a gorgeous night for a walk with Nova! The swelling in her leg went down a little more and it is not as hot which is a great sign! She enjoyed the little bit of exercise although was not a huge fan of being away from Gypsy 😅
