We are currently hiring a part-time (10 to 20 hours) Customer Experience Guide to assist with open boutique and gatherings at The Haven.
This is an entry level, part-time, customer service role in Bedford, Hts. Hours will be primarily midafternoon to evening, Thursday through Sunday and specific event timeframes.
Starting pay is $13 per hour.
Boutique duties include greeting and checking out customers (ringing out and bagging items, taking payments, etc), answering customer questions, restocking shelves/inventory, and tidiness of the reception area. Gathering duties set-up and breakdown of gathering space, sanitizing/cleaning of gathering supplies, space and kitchenette; greeting and guiding of attendees at time of event; checking in and out of attendees.
Light tidying-up of the Haven including bathroom, sweeping, dusting, trash and organizing.
The ideal person is someone who is friendly, positive, warm, enjoys being helpful and in service to others; has excellent customer engagement; can work independently and ethically; reliable and flexible schedule with own transportation; exudes attention to detail and organization skills; works well in a team/collaborative environment; can multi-task and self-aware to the energy they bring into the space.
As a bonus, the ideal person is familiar with self-discovery work and holistic/spiritual practices. They love crystals and have a basic knowledge of how they support the mind, body and spirit. They love burning candles, incense, sage and/or palo santo to ground and center. This person has explored holistic services before for their own personal self-care such as Reiki, sound healing, meditation, breathwork, astrology, yoga and/or counseling/therapy.
