Trick-or-Treat Fun at Bedford Springs!

We had such a spooktacular time today as the preschoolers from BES stopped by for some Halloween fun! The little ghosts, superheroes, and princesses made their way through the halls, trick-or-treating from door to door — and our residents absolutely loved passing out candy and seeing all the adorable costumes.🎃👻🍬🍭🍫

A huge THANK YOU to the Trimble County Klunkers Tractor Club for bringing their beautiful tractors out both on Saturday and Sunday for our residents to enjoy! Our folks had such a great time seeing them!!

A big THANK YOU to Bedford Christian Church for your wonderful donation for our residents!

Each month, the church chooses a local organization to support, and this month we were lucky enough to be the one chosen.

Things have been a little hectic around the nursing home while we get new floors, so your thoughtful gift came at the perfect time. The cheeseballs and soft drinks made the best Friday afternoon snack, and our activities team added in some ice cream to make it even sweeter.

What a fun way to kick off the weekend! We are so grateful for your kindness and support.

We’re thrilled to recognize our amazing Employees of the Month for their outstanding dedication, hard work, and positive attitude!

This month, we recognize:

Cathy- Cathy has been serving our residents as a cook in dietary for a year. Residents rave about her delicious meals and willingness to fulfill their requests as fast as possible!

Wendy- Wendy has cared for our residents as an LPN for a year and half. She has shown tremendous leadership and always makes the residents feel they are in good hands!

Your efforts inspire all of us! Thank you for making a difference everyday in our residents life.

The residents have been eagerly seeking spiritual guidance on Sundays for weeks, and today, their prayers have been answered. A preacher with a heart for ministry has arrived, ready to share the Word and bring encouragement, truth, and love to their community.

Today we want to shine a light on a truly wonderful woman who’s been making a big difference at our nursing home. Debbie has been a lifelong employee😉 With kindness in her heart and creativity in her hands, she’s been helping to beautify Bedford Springs!!

It’s people like her who remind us how powerful small acts of love and service can go 🌸🌼
