How much cleaning do you have to do after a lice treatment??
Studies show that we don't have to do nearly as much as we once thought in our environment.

-No throwing anything away and no bonfires in the backyard! 🔥🔥🔥
-Change the sheets (of those that have lice)
-Throw a sheet over the couch for 24 hours or simply lint roll
-Put the following in the dryer on high heat for 30 minutes: Blankets, stuffed animals, coats, and hats (if used in the last 24 hours)
-Hair brushes and accessories can go in the freezer overnight.

There are many myths out there that suggest you have to vacuum every nook and cranny of your house and bag everything for weeks or months.

It's not the case. You do not have to vacuum and you do not have to bag anything.
Bugs die off the head in 24 hours and they need a human host to survive. Off the head they're dying.

Nits are tan colored and tear drop shaped. They feel similar to a knot in a piece of thread.

• It takes a nit 7-10 days to hatch, and 7-10 days to mature. Nits do not hatch off the head.

• Hatched lice do not jump, fly or swim. They use 6 tiny claws to pinch and climb onto hair.

• Head lice feed on human blood (scalp ONLY). They only live about 24 hours off the head.

• You might not itch - Itchiness is an allergic reaction to the saliva. Only 50% of people itch. • Lice are resistant to chemical based drug store brands of lice shampoo. We suggest
an enzyme based shampoo to kill hatched lice and a good comb like terminator lice comb.
• Dandruff and hair cast are white. They are easy to dislodge on dry hair.
