When we say no to lip filler, it's not personal. It's professional.
At PM Aesthetics, our providers have both the authority and ethical obligation to decline treatments that aren't in your best medical or aesthetic interest.
We will not perform lip filler if:
You're requesting excessive volume or unnatural proportions
You want treatment too frequently (every 2-3 months instead of 12-18 months)
You have an active cold sore or infection
You're trying to correct botched work from unqualified providers
You show signs of body dysmorphia
You've been refused elsewhere by reputable providers
You're under 21 without clear medical indication
Why this matters:
Most medspas will sell you whatever you ask for, whenever you want it. Their business model depends on it. Ours doesn't.
We're not commission-based, franchise-owned, or investor-driven. We're medical professionals whose licenses, reputations, and ethics matter more than monthly sales targets.
When we decline treatment:
✓ We'll explain our clinical reasoning
✓ We'll suggest alternatives if appropriate
✓ We'll refer you to specialists if needed
✓ No judgment, but no compromise on standards
You're free to seek treatment elsewhere if we decline. But we'd rather you leave disappointed than leave with a complication, unnatural result, or lasting regret.
That's the PM Aesthetics difference: Medicine first. Sales never.
