The holiday season is all about connection and celebration, but it can also mean more germs.

National Handwashing Awareness Week (December 5–11) is the perfect time to refresh your hygiene habits, especially if you use CPAP equipment.

- Wash thoroughly: Use soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Don’t forget the backs of your hands, between fingers, and under nails.
- Remember the basics: Wet, lather, scrub, rinse, dry.
- Avoid spreading germs: Wash before eating, keep hands away from your face, and never cough or sneeze into your hands.
