Genevieve Mae College, 93, of Manns Choice passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Nancy's Personal Care home, Osterburg, surrounded by her family. She was born July 1, 1932 in Napier Twp, Bedford County, daughter of Lester & Lilly (Nunamaker) Leppert. She graduated from Schellsburg Napier High School in 1952.

She was employed at Maurice's Dept Store in Bedford, Five Gables Restaurant in Cessna, Bedford Springs Hotel, and later retired from house cleaning for many wonderful people.

She is survived by son, Randy, husband of Rita (Mortimore) College of Schellsburg and daughter, Lorie, wife of Todd Wareham of Schellsburg. She is also survived by four grandchildren. Jesse & Gisele (Winegardner) College of Bedford, Matthew & Courtney (Slagle) College of Ebensburg, Nicole (Wareham) Robertson, companion of Buck Stanton of Clearville, and Kelsey Wareham, companion of Bryan Syktich, of Johnstown. Great Grandchildren include: Jack & Jase College, Kennedy College, Carson & Peyton Robertson, and Payton Stanton. Survived by the following siblings: Don (Beverly) Leppert of Osterburg, Vera Beegle of Bedford and Anna Jane Fisher of Bedford. Preceded in death by brothers, Irvin, Howard, Roy and sister, Bivian Smith. Genevieve has numerous loving nieces, nephews and friends.

She was a devoted Christian and member of the Point Fellowship Church, Schellsburg. She taught junior class at Sunday school for many years and was a member of the Hospitality club and Busy Bees craft group at church. She enjoyed participating in all family gatherings, tending to her flowers and gardening and going on "drives" throughout the countryside. She trusted God in everything she did and will be missed greatly.

The family would like to thank Nancy's Personal Care home for the wonderful care and attention provided to our mother.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Schellsburg.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 11AM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Schellsburg with Pastor Darrell Cashdollar officiating.

Interment will be at Bedford County Memorial Park, Bedford, PA.

Donna Faye (Davis) Lehman, 80, of King Township, Osterburg, passed away on February 16, 2026. She was born on July 12, 1945, in Weyant, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Chester and Daisy (Claycomb) Davis. On January 19, 1971, she married her husband William L. Lehman in Wi******er, VA, he preceded her in death in 2018.

Donna Faye and William had three children: Christopher J. Lehman, of Osterburg; Lisa D. Lehman, of Osterburg. She is preceded in death by daughter- Corinne R. Lehman. She is fondly remembered by her extended Davis family; Andy and Zelda Palya, Eugene and Rue Davis, Gary and Cindy Davis, and Leonard and Shirley Barefoot. She is also remembered with love by many nieces, nephews and other cherished relatives whose lives she touched greatly.

She cherished spending time with her family, gardening, going to the beach and listening to Elvis Music. A 1963 graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School, she majored in business and was a standout cheerleader.

Donna Faye will be remembered for her gentle spirit, warm smile and her kind generous heart. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and devotion that will continue to inspire all who knew her.

At the request of the family, services will be private. Interment will be held at Imler Valley Cemetery, Imler.

George "Shannon" S. Evans III, 89, of Schellsburg, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family.

George was born in Springfield, WV on September 11, 1936, son of the late George S. Evans Jr. and Mary (Lee).

On June 24, 1963, he married his wife Mona F. (Hinson) Evans, who preceded him in death on December 23, 2025.

He is survived by daughter- Linda wife of Lew Schwartz, of Baltimore, MD; son- Geary husband of Laurie (Stains) Weyant, of Alum Bank; son- George husband of Terri (Gregory) Evans, of WY; son- Kevin husband of Paula (Patrick) Evans, of MD; son- Todd husband of Lisa (Newsome) Evans, of Schellsburg; along with 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. George is preceded in death by sisters: Alice Miller, Mary Lee Beacham, Patty Boore.

George retired from General Motors in Baltimore, Maryland, as a Material Handler. He was a member at the Schellsburg VFW Post 4440. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and using his metal detector.

George served his country in the United States Marine Core.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 11 AM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Bedford.

Thomas E. Smith, 86, of Snake Spring Twp, passed away peacefully, free of pain and surrounded by his loving family on Friday, February 13, 2026.

Born on March 15, 1939, in Central City, PA, he was the older son of the late Thomas and Thelma (Shaffer) Smith. On May 8, 1965, Thomas married, Janet (Perdew) Smith, at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Bedford. Their marriage of 60 years was filled with love, faith, and countless cherished memories.

Thomas is proceeded in death by his wife, Janet and survived by his two daughters: Connie M. Fake wife of Alan Fake, of Palmyra, Pa; Jody L. Zimmerman wife of Steve Zimmerman, of Everett, PA. He was a proud grandmother of four grandchildren: Derek T. husband of Gina (Arnold) Fake, of Northlake, TX; Tabitha M. wife of Alex Connelly, of Elizabethtown, PA; Priscilla L. wife of Montana Gleason, of Culpepper, VA; Benjamin L. Zimmerman fiancé of Samantha Yokum, of Everett, PA. His joy only grew with the arrival of his four great-grandchildren: Georgiana Fake, Charlotte Connelly, Derek T. Fake Jr., and Indiana Gleason;

Tom is also survived by loving siblings: Harold (Ed) Smith and wife Jane; Norma Jean, late husband Donald Lynch; Robert (Bob) Smith, late wife Maxine; Joseph (Joe) Smith, late wife Cathy; Shirley Mae, significant other Donald Zarefoss; Beverly, wife of Rick Oehling. He is also remembered with love by many nieces, nephews, and other cherished relatives whose lives she touched deeply.

Tom is fondly remembered by his extended Perdew family: Shirley wife of Mike College, of Georgetown, KY; Dianne wife of Norman Rose Jr., of Bedford; Paul Perdew husband of Mary, of Bedford; brother-in-law: Kenneth Hauck, of Bedford. He is preceded in death by sister-in-law-June Hauck.

He was a proud 1957 graduate of Berlin High School, where he formed lifelong friendships and cherished the memories he would revisit year after year by faithfully attending his class reunions.

From 1962 to 1964, he honorably served his country in the United States Army, carrying with him the discipline, strength, and sense of duty that would define much of his life. Upon returning home, he built a long and respected career as a heavy equipment operator with Local Union 66. He later became an owner-operator truck driver, known on the road by his CB handle, "Tom Cat," a name that reflected both his independence and spirited personality.

Outside of work, he found his greatest happiness in the simple joys of life. He cherished time spent with his family, rarely missing a family reunion, and always valuing the laughter and stories shared across generations. He enjoyed attending bluegrass festivals, had a fond appreciation for John Deere tractors, and took great pride in restoring automobiles. Car shows were a favorite pastime, especially when shared alongside his wife and close friends.

In his later years, his world revolved around his family. Staying connected with loved ones and friends became his greatest priority and deepest joy. His steady presence, warm spirit, and unwavering devotion to those he loved will be remembered always.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 16, from 4-7 PM, at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Bedford.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 10:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 161 E. 1st St. Everett, PA. 15537, with Father Donald Dusza- Celebrant.

A Committal Service will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery, Bedford.

Military rights accorded by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.

James was born in Bedford on April 20, 1936, son of the late James and Magdeline (Kilcoin) Beegle. Bob was formerly married to Evelyn (Feight) Beegle.

He is survived by son- Steve Weaver, of Schellsburg; daughter- Carolyn Beegle, of Bedford; daughter- Lori Beegle, of Bedford; daughter- Tammy wife of Tom Amos, of Waynesboro; daughter- Julie wife of Steve Foor, of Bedford; son- Scott husband of Karen (Tasker) Beegle, of Baltimore; daughter- Terri wife of Jerry Shaffer, of Schellsburg; along with 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Bob is preceded in death by son Larry James Beegle.

He was a diesel mechanic his whole life throughout Bedford County. He was the owner/operator of Bob Beegle and Sons in Maryland.

Douglas M. Clapper, 83, of Bedford, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Hollidaysburg Veteran's Home, Hollidaysburg.

Douglas was born in Bedford on March 16, 1942, son of the late Joseph Clapper Sr. and Katherine (Whiteman).

He is survived by daughter- Beverly (John) Lomonaco, of Sewell, NJ; daughter- Elizabeth Loizos, of Millsboro, DE; son- Charles (Jennifer) of Crum Lynne, PA; three grandchildren: Ryan, Sophia, Charles Clapper Jr; and siblings: Joseph Clapper (Faye); Janice Sembower; and James Clapper. Doug is preceded in death by sister- Barbara Weyant.

Doug was a graduate of Bedford High School and Pennsylvania State University. Doug served his country in the United States Navy after attending Officers Candidate School in Newport, RI He served aboard the USS Meredith stationed in Mayport, FL from 1965 - 1968. After active duty, he was in the Naval Reserve until 1971. He worked as a Draftsman until retirement.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 9-10 AM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Bedford.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 11 AM at Bedford County Memorial Park, Bedford.

Interment will be at Bedford County Memorial Park.

Deborah was born in Bedford on August 20, 1956, daughter of the late Roger Bagley and Judith (Milburn) Bagley, whom survives.

She is survived by son- Wesley Bagley, of Manns Choice; sister- Deirdre White, of Bedford; mother- Judith Bagley; two nieces: Caela and Robbi; great-nieces: Anna, Leah, Ally and great-nephew- Michael. She is preceded in death by sister- Doreen, nephew- Brian and brother-in-law- John.

Deborah drove the school van for numerous years before retiring. She enjoyed driving for the Bedford Taxi and loved fishing.

Bonnie L. Claycomb, age 85, of Gordon Hall Road, Osterburg, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at her beloved home.

She was born on November 9, 1940, in Pittsburgh, and was the daughter of the late Robert B. Stultz and Gladys V. (Bowser) Stultz.

Bonnie was a member of Spring Meadow Family Worship Center in New Paris. She was the owner and operator of Colony Flower Shop for 41 years.

She is survived by her former husband, James S. Claycomb of Alum Bank; her sons, Scott Claycomb of Osterburg and Jeffrey W. Claycomb and his wife, Carol Poborsky, of Alum Bank; her brother, Daniel A. Stultz and his wife, Pearlyn (Tan), of Bedford; and her sister, Joanne Felix and her husband, Thomas, of New Paris. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Nathan Claycomb; Justin Claycomb and his wife, Jessica (Snyder); Ryan Claycomb and his wife, Taylor; and Kayle Reynolds and her husband, Dalton; as well as her 15 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law-Patricia (Oravec) Stultz. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Shawn Douglas Claycomb, her brother, Robert B. Stultz; her niece, Heather Igou; and her nephew, Kevin Stultz. Bonnie was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who dearly loved her family and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The family extends a special thank you to Gentiva Hospice, Chaplain Tim Guyer, Denise, nurses Michelle, Keesha, and Janine, and her caregivers Susan, Charlee, Alexis, Ann, and Dee.

Mary C. Anderson, 97, of Bedford, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Bedford Post Acute, Bedford.

Mary was born at home on R.D. #1 Conemaugh, Pennsylvania, on November 17, 1928, daughter of the late Paul and Frances (Leckey) Candler.

She married her husband Glenn K. Anderson Sr. on June 28, 1952, at Sacred Heart Church, Conemaugh, PA. Glenn preceded her in death on July 26, 1995, they were married for 43 years.

Mary was a 1946 graduate of Conemaugh High School and attended Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. She was a Supervisor at General Telephone Company in Johnstown.

Mary is preceded in death by a daughter- Mary Ann; and two brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by 8 children: Glenn K. Anderson, Jr. husband of Debra, of Bedford; Francis "Bud" M. Anderson husband of Debbie, of Mount Morris; Robert D. Anderson husband of Debra, of Clarksville, TN; Mary E. wife of Gary Rochester, of Bedford; John Anderson husband of Jae Young, of Washington DC; James Anderson husband of Susan, of Dayton, OH; Maureen Borosky wife of Gary, of Las Vegas, NV; and Mark Anderson, of Bedford; along with 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; and sister Elizabeth Mackall.

Mary was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Bedford, where she had taught Catechism for 15 years and was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Ladies Guild. For 14 years, Mary was a volunteer driver for the DAV at the Altoona VA Hospital, and volunteered in the hospital assisting wheel-chaired patients. Mary also was a member of the Bedford County Senior Citizens and Bedford County Military Mothers. Mary was an avid walker, who walked 3 miles a day for many years. She had a fulfilling life and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Bedford.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 11 AM, at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Bedford with Celebrant- Father Rich Tomkosky.

Burial will be held at Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown, PA.

The family would like to thank our sister Liz for the care she provided our mom, enabling her to live several more years on the farm she loved. We also would like to thank the workers at Colonial Courtyard and Bedford Post Acute for caring for our mother when she could no longer be at home.

Nancy Lee Mock, 83, of Bedford, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Bedford Post Acute, Bedford.

Nancy was born in Roaring Spring on March 16, 1942, daughter of the late John C. and Arvilla M. (Miller) Kagarise.

She is survived by husband- Robert F. Mock, of Altoona; sister- Cheryl wife of Richard Engbert, of Schellsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Nancy is preceded in death by her siblings: Edith Mutchler, Eugene Kagarise, Betty Conrath, Beverly Stutzman, Shirley Hall, Connie Steel-Tillman, Carolyn Long, Margaret "Peggy" Kagarise, and infant brother Thomas Kagarise.

Nancy worked at Maurice's in Bedford and then First National Bank as a teller. Nancy and her husband were the owners and operators of the Carriage House for numerous years.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Entombment will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park, Bedford.

Daris Lynn Hahn, 80, of Bedford, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Select Specialty Hospital, Johnstown.

Daris was born in Cumberland on January 6, 1946, daughter of the late George Spicer and Hazel (Frantz) Barney, of Bedford. On July 30, 1964, she married her husband James W. Hahn, who preceded her in death on September 25, 2023. They were married for 59 years.

She is survived by son- Harry James husband of Jennifer (Geib) Hahn, of Mechanicsburg; daughter- Karen Sue "Susie" Hahn, of Reynoldsdale; daughter- Angela Jo wife of Andrew Mowry, of Schellsburg; and Sarah McCloskey, of AZ. Sarah became an important part of our family and was considered a daughter and sister. Daris is also survived by mother- Hazel Barney, of Bedford; four grandchildren: Maxwell James, Payden Drew, Alecsis Paige, Alicia Marie; and siblings: Brenda Belles, of Roaring Spring; Carolyn Manges, of Ebensburg; Mary Shipley, of Bedford; Edie Fain, of Bedford; Kathy Conrath, of Bedford. Daris is preceded in death along with her husband James, by brother- Dwayne Spicer.

Daris was a member of Spring Meadow Worship Center. She worked for Carl Feather Mobile Homes for many years as an Interior Designer and Secretary. She enjoyed cooking, canning, going to auctions and was an avid amazon shopper. Spending time with her family was her number one priority. She loved her grandchildren immensely and was happy to live vicariously through their travels and life experiences.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 11 AM at the Spring Meadow Worship Center, 2875 Quaker Valley Road, New Paris, Pa. 15554. A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 10-11 AM at Spring Meadow Worship Center.

Georgianna "George" Kelley, 55, of Schellsburg, Pennsylvania crossed this early plane surrounded by her family on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. Georgianna was born in Bedford on June 20, 1970.

She is survived by son- Geordan Watson, of Schellsburg; mother- Martha Kelley, of Clermont, FL; sister- Karen wife of Chris Jackson, of Orlando, FL; nephews: Jarryd Jackson-Kelley and John Logan Jackson-Kelley, of Orlando, FL; and two grand nephews.

She was a member of the Schellsburg VFW. Georgianna was a great friend to many and loved by all. She never hesitated to help and never looked for a return. She will be dearly missed by all.

A viewing will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 3-6 PM at Geisel-Styer Funeral Homes, Schellsburg.
