Our LifeStories residents are loving their time with the Lucynt Gaming System, and we’re proud to offer it three days a week as part of our memory care programming!

Lucynt is more than just a game… it’s a motion-based, therapeutic gaming experience designed specifically for older adults!! Using gentle movements, visual cues, music, and familiar activities, Lucynt meets residents where they are and encourages engagement in a way that feels fun, safe, and successful.

The best part? Residents don’t even realize they’re “exercising” or doing therapy… they’re just having fun, reminiscing, and staying connected 💙

Our residents strongly disagreed with taking the Christmas trees down at the beginning of the month (and honestly… same 😅). So we found the perfect compromise: one of our lobby trees got a second life as a special Valentine’s Day tree ❤️🌹

And WOW.. talk about a glow-up! One of our incredible dining team members, Catherine, took it upon herself to turn that tree into the most beautiful Valentine’s Day masterpiece we’ve ever seen. Pink, sparkly, festive, and filled with love just like our community 💕

Proof that around here, traditions don’t end… they just evolve. And love is always in season. 💌✨

🐄💙 We’ve Got a Moo-velous Update! 💙🐄
We just received our 3-month update from our adopted cow, Lucy, through the Discover Dairy Adopt a Cow Program, and our LifeStories neighborhood is absolutely loving it! From learning about Lucy’s daily routine to following along with her growth and milestones, residents have been having a blast checking in on their special cow and talking all things dairy. 🥛🌾

Lucy has truly become part of our community, sparking conversations, smiles, and memories as we learn where our food comes from and what life is like on a real dairy farm. This journey has been fun, educational, and so meaningful for our residents and we can’t wait for the next update!

🐄✨ About the Discover Dairy Adopt a Cow Program:
The Adopt a Cow Program is a FREE, interactive educational program from Discover Dairy that allows communities, classrooms, and organizations to virtually adopt a real dairy cow from a working dairy farm. Participants receive regular updates, photos, videos, and fun facts about their cow, the farmer, and daily life on the farm.

The program helps people of all ages:
🥛 Learn where milk and dairy foods come from
🌱 Understand how farmers care for their animals and the land
📚 Explore agriculture, nutrition, and farm life in an engaging way
❤️ Build connections through storytelling, learning, and shared experiences

This morning was so much fun! ❄️ Tyler and one of our amazing senior living hospitality associates, Nancy, accompanied a group into town to check out the ice sculptures on display in Bedford. The fun didn’t stop there, everyone joined in on ice shuffleboard and ice co****le, and Jerry couldn’t resist taking a thrilling ride down the ice slide!

After braving the cold, a warm-up stop at Hebrews Coffee Shop was a must. ☕️ While most enjoyed a cozy cup of hot chocolate, Jerry and Laura treated themselves to the ever-popular French toast latte, the perfect way to end a chilly but joyful morning.

Moments like these are what winter memories are made of! 💙

🎉 VIRAL AGAIN! Our residents are TikTok famous! 🥁✨

You read that right…. Tyler, our amazing Activity Director, recorded his air drumming workout routine to “Midnight Sun” by international pop star Zara Larsson, and it has racked up over 1,344,288 views and counting! 🌍🔥

And the best part? Zara Larsson herself, with over 7 million followers commented:
💬 “Ok cool now I have to hire 50 new drummers for my next tour” 🙌💛

The love didn’t stop there! Our video blew up with positive reactions from TikTokers of all ages, here are just a few favorites:

Yesterday we discovered one of our new favorite games, created completely by our amazing Activities Department 🙌

It’s called Slap Attack… and it was a hit! 🎉
Residents each get a sticky slap hand, and when the card hits the middle of the table… SLAP! 🖐️ The first one to grab it wins the prize that matches the card. Check out all of our winners!!

Lots of laughs, friendly competition, quick reactions, and pure fun filled the room. This is exactly what happens when creativity meets engagement and our residents loved every second of it! 💙

Way to go, activities team, for thinking outside the box and keeping our community active, smiling, and entertained!
