Shoulder pain when reaching overhead? Your upper back might be part of the problem 👀
Many people focus only on the shoulder, but research shows the upper back plays an important role in how the shoulder moves.
In one study, people who added upper back exercises to shoulder rehab showed greater improvements in pain and strength than those who did shoulder exercises alone.
Our clinic can help. Watch this video for more information on what we can do for shoulder pain. 🎥 https://youtu.be/ktLPQJ0SHoE

Achilles tendon pain is one of the most common running injuries, especially when mileage increases too quickly.
A few simple tips to help reduce your risk:
✅ Increase your running gradually
✅ Limit mileage increases to 10% per week
✅ Add calf raises to strengthen the lower leg
✅ Pay attention to early soreness and back off if needed

🤕 Struggling with headaches that won’t go away? If neck tension is the cause, over-the-counter meds might only give temporary relief.
A recent study compared various treatments and found that non-drug approaches, specifically those combining hands-on chiropractic care with active lifestyle strategies, were the most effective at reducing pain intensity and frequency.🏃♂️💆♀️
💡 The Takeaway: Simply masking the pain doesn’t fix the root cause. Treating your neck and improving overall movement works better!

🏋️♂️ Strength training can be safe and beneficial for young adults when done the right way.
With proper guidance, good technique, and smart progressions, lifting can help build strength, support overall health, and reduce injury risk. The key is focusing on form, gradual increases, and enough recovery time.
Starting slow and learning the basics sets the foundation for long-term success, not just quick gains.

🦶 Not all heel pain is the same.
Many people assume heel pain automatically means plantar fasciitis, but that’s not always the case. Different types of heel pain can feel similar, yet come from very different causes.
Why does this matter? Because the right treatment depends on the right diagnosis. What helps one type of heel pain may not help another at all.
👉 Check out this infographic to learn the key differences and see what might be driving your heel pain. https://chiroup.short.gy/wnvDUb

🤯 What if your back pain isn’t caused by “tight” muscles?
We’ve all been there, your back hurts, so you try to stretch it out. But if stretching isn’t giving lasting relief, there’s a reason.
A recent study found that people with chronic low back pain had less stiffness in a deep back muscle, the quadratus lumborum, than those without pain.
Pain doesn’t always mean a muscle is too tight. Often, the muscle is underactive or does not adequately support your spine. Stretching a muscle that’s already loose or weak could make things worse.
At our clinic, we look beyond the “tight” feeling to see what’s really happening. Sometimes the solution isn’t more stretching, it’s more stability and targeted strength. 💪

🌀 Is your neck pain changing the way you walk?
It might sound strange, but your neck plays a big role in your balance and coordination.
Research shows that people with chronic neck pain often exhibit greater variability in their walking patterns, especially when multitasking or turning their heads. Your nervous system has to work harder just to keep you steady.
When your neck is stiff or painful, it sends “fuzzy” signals to your brain, making movement feel less smooth and less confident. By improving neck function, we help your nervous system communicate better so you can move with ease.
