Without noticing, we begin to look at everything through a very small lens: MY schedule, MY stress, MY body, MY thoughts.
When we practice yoga, we gently question that lens.
Perspective is not about denying our experienceâitâs about widening the frame that holds it. When something feels tightâphysically or mentallyâitâs often not just the sensation itself, but the perspective weâre holding around it.
A thought like âthis shouldnât be happeningâ can make a small discomfort feel overwhelming.
But what happens if we shift to: this is whatâs here right now? Not better, not worseâjust this.
Throughout your day, see if you can carry this wider lens with you.
When something feels overwhelming, pause and take one breath. Give yourself a little more space around the moment.
Sometimes the situation doesnât changeâ
but the way we hold it does. That can be enough to shift everything đ«¶
