We would like to extend our sincerest appreciation to Diane Ryan from Saint James' Episcopal Church - Indian Head, MD. Diane was the lucky winner of a Buttons Royal Rider kids bike at St. James’ Famous Fall Bazaar. She generously decided to donate the bike to The Jude House’s Women and Children’s home, Robins Nest. This bike is sure to bring immense joy to the children. We express our heartfelt gratitude for her kindness and generosity.
The Robins Nest provides a recovery setting for women with children, enabling them to regain stability over a two year period. For more information or to make a donation, please visit our website at www.thejudehouse.org. Saint James' Episcopal Church - Indian Head, MD

One of the most meaningful parts of recovery and reentry is rediscovering the simple joys of everyday life. Our Patient Relations Manager recently took several of our patients on a community outing to support their reintegration after years away from society.
One of our residents lit up with gratitude over something as simple as sharing a burger and conversation. Two others joined him in expressing how much the outing meant to them, reminding us all that moments of normalcy can feel like healing.
At Jude House, we believe these experiences are more than outings, they’re steps toward belonging and building a future filled with possibility.

Clyde Jones, CPRS, our Patient Relations Manager, recently invited three Jude House alumni- Mango, Eugene, and Jamar to speak with the men in our program. Each of these alumni is thriving in his personal and professional journey, and all credit The Jude House with helping prepare them for a successful transition back into the community.
• Mango now serves as a Supervisor of Loss Prevention with Burlington.
• Eugene works as a Blood Spill and Pathogen Specialist at Georgetown Hospital.
• Jamar is employed with the Prince George’s County Health Department and is also a published author, poet, and motivational speaker.
Their collective message to the men was clear and powerful: Patience.
Thank you gentlemen! 👏 👏
