It was a big weekend for Kirtland Women’s Basketball, both on and off the court!
On Saturday, the Lady Firebirds captured a strong win over Lake Michigan!
Alyssa Kiel: 18 points, 12 rebounds
Elliana Sexton: 11 points, 10 rebounds
Kayla McCoy: 10 points
Jena Wambold: 10 points
Kingsley Backstrom: 7 points
And we’re keeping that momentum going with something even bigger with the team launching a Holiday Can Drive to support River House Shelter in Grayling.
Now through December 18, the team will collect, sort, and return cans, using every dollar raised to purchase gifts from the River House holiday wish list for families in need. This project is about leadership, service, and giving back to our community.
