Harris County Hospital District Foundation (HCHD Foundation) was honored to have Chairwoman Kristin Garcia Blomquist represent the Foundation as we celebrated a major milestone at the topping off ceremony for the Harris Health John M. O’Quinn Hospital on the LBJ Hospital Campus—and what stood out most was the strength of the partnership that made this moment possible.
A project of this scale doesn’t move forward because of any one organization. It happens when public leaders, healthcare teams, philanthropic partners, community advocates, designers, builders, and project staff stay aligned around a shared purpose: delivering world-class care and expanding access for Harris County families.
This milestone is a powerful reminder that when stakeholders come together with clarity, trust, and a commitment to the community, we can build something that will serve generations.
Congratulations to Esmaeil Porsa, Beth Robertson, Marlen Trujillo, Office of Commissioner Lesley Briones, Precinct 4, Commissioner Rodney Ellis, Council Member Julian Ramirez, State Representative Armando Walle, and many others who helped bring us to this point—thank you for your leadership, collaboration, and steadfast focus on patients and communities.
