The Family Health Centers located in Bellaire and East Jordan, combine federal assistance, patient fees, community resources and your support to offer quality, affordable medical services. This health center is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and a deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n). East Jordan Family Health Center is a Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) deemed facility. Our Services

Bellaire and East Jordan Family Health Centers are your local home town primary health care centers. We offer a variety of services for newborns to geriatrics, including:

3D Mammography and X-ray
Obstetrics
Occupational Medicine
Gynecology
Pharmacy
Laboratory Services On Site (Provided by LabCorp)
Immunizations
Men’s Health
Adult Physicals and Well Child Exams
Flu Clinics
Prescription Assistance Services
Sliding Fee Discount Program

We believe that everyone has a right to quality affordable health care. We offer a Sliding Fee Discount Program to help you when needed. We participate with Medicare, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, Blue Cross and most insurance plans.

Our Story

Our History

East Jordan Family Health Center opened in 1976 when the East Jordan community raised funds to support medical care.

We have a Board of Directors that has supported the growth from a one physician clinic to multiple sites. In 1999 services were expanded to meet the health care needs of residents in Bellaire. In 2003 the Health Center expanded again to include Central Lake. In order to provide our patients with affordable prescription drugs, a full service pharmacy was opened in downtown East Jordan in 2005. In June 2011, the pharmacy moved onsite with East Jordan Family Health Center at 601 Bridge St, East Jordan, to their newly renovated facility, including convenient drive-thru pharmacy service.

As a non-profit corporation, public donations and grants are used to further our mission, purchase equipment, and develop programs.
