We decided it wasn’t fair to not include ALL our employees in our traditional Friday lunch. So Sascha our Therapy Dog came along. She looks “ready to roll” between Kirti and Lucia. She used to like to lay down in the backseat but after this trip she now likes to ride in the car sitting up like a person even when she has the backseat to herself.

We played hooky yesterday afternoon and took an afternoon out of the office. Everyone went to the Astro’s playoff game (except Sascha and Talulah, the therapy doggies)! The pups got the afternoon off. If you tried to call the office to make an appointment or about your prescription refill, nobody was there to take your call. We put the ‘stros first!

Blakely and I had fun making the lighted American Flag that was programmed to patriotic music. The flag was 4 feet by 6 feet and came unpainted. We had to engineer our own frame and place 2900 bulbs. We purchased a music and light controller from WowLights.com. Thanks to my friend Andy for mounting the flag and using his boat. This was much easier than the sail boat we used last time. We won first place in our division - Power Boat 31 - 38 feet (we were angling for their “most patriotic award”). Happy Holidays! -Dr. Loftus
