We have lost many in our families with many atypical symptoms that were not detected early by primary physicians or patients .Women are underrepresented in clinical trials .Women of color are not only understudied but also suffer due to practice gaps in family practice on understanding cardiac care for diverse women patients. The disease needs collaborative learning for healthcare professionals and patients alike.
