💚National Family Caregivers Month is celebrated each November to recognize and honor family caregivers across the country. Family caregivers are defined as family members or someone who is identified as “family” who provide assistance and support to an individual with a chronic health condition, including mental health and substance use conditions, disability, or functional limitation.

Mental Health America (MHA) had a "Guide for New Caregivers" that breaks down what new caregivers need to know about a loved one’s care, the rights and responsibilities as a caregiver, and how to manage both the emotional and practical sides of caregiving with compassion and confidence.

ADAMH Board Levy Results

Yesterday, voters in communities throughout Ohio showed their support for mental health and addiction services. Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Boards had thirteen out of fourteen levies pass. Congratulations to the Boards on their success! The chart below provides the levy details:
