Maddie is graduating this spring from Penn State and is looking to apply to Physical Therapy school soon. We are very proud of her and all her hard work this semester!

Dee came in with cervical radiculopathy, meaning a nerve in her neck was getting irritated and sending symptoms down her arm

Instead of just masking the symptoms, we focus on:
• Improving neck and upper back mobility
• Reducing pressure on the nerve
• Building strength around the shoulder and spine

Rehab is a process — and Dee is putting in the work 💪 Gold stars all around

Jon underwent cervical decompression surgery at the end of last year and has been putting in the work at RHR for the past two months.

Right now we’re prioritizing coordination, strength, and power to help him get back to living life with confidence.

Shoutout to our Penn State intern Maddie for reaching her dead hang goal — she crushed it by completing 1:20 🤩

Dead hangs focus on grip strength,[ shows overall muscle strength + functional capacity] which research has shown is directly related to a lower risk of all-cause mortality!

The recommended time for women is 1:00 and 2:00 for men.

We challenge you to test your grip strength and see how long you can dead hang for! 💪🏻

Why we use cupping in rehab 👇🏻

Cupping isn’t about “pulling toxins out” — it’s a tool to help your body move and feel better.

Benefits of cupping include:
✅ Improves local blood flow to tight or irritated tissue
✅ Reduces muscle tone and guarding
✅ Helps improve mobility and range of motion
✅ Can decrease pain sensitivity in stubborn areas
✅ Great adjunct to rehab, lifting, and recovery work

We often use cupping before movement or exercise, not just as a passive treatment — because better tissue motion = better movement quality 💪🏻

Bruising can happen (it’s normal), but it’s not required for results.

If you’re dealing with tight hips, stiff shoulders, cranky backs, or lingering soreness, cupping can be a helpful piece of the puzzle!
