My bone white canes are very popular with my customers. They can be hand painted, antiqued, made to look similar to wood and can be enhanced with a pewter medallion. Most people who ordder one of my canes learn about them by seeing someone using one of them. I do not advertise because the cane sells itself. Last night I went to a restaurant with my wife. Five separate groups of people remarked about the cane I was using. It was a simple bone white cane priced at $79.95. All but one of these interested people told me they were going to order one, either for themselves or as a gift for a family member or doctor. This Christmas season has been a very good one. The business is growing even though I have had some health issues. The business is at the point that it sustains itself through repeat customers and word of mouth. I appreciate all my friends and customers do to help promote my business.

My reward continues to be the notes and messages I receive from my customers explaining how my cane has changed a family members life. This last week a person told me that she gave a cane to her elderly father. Although he didn't think he wanted a cane, he did try it and found that he loves it.

She told me her father just beams whenever someone approaches him and inquires about his unique and fun cane. Now he looks forward to getting out of the house to show off his pride and joy. .

The American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons out of California hired me to design and make five canes with leg bone handles to use during their ground breaking ceremony. There are five separate divisions in this new building. Each division had their own logo on the cane handle. e.g. Hip and Knee division. These shovels and a cane will be displayed in each wing of the new complex. I am hoping it will generate new business.
