We love when students visit! 💜

From cosmetology to social work to healthcare, they discover how their unique talents and calling can make a real difference in the lives of older adults — and how meaningful it is to build a career that truly loves you back.

This week, students from HOSA – Future Health Professionals at the Mifflin County Academy of Science & Technology spent time with residents in the Haven, sharing flowers, heartfelt cards, and plenty of smiles. We can't wait to see what the future brings for these students! 🌷

This queen turned 100 yesterday and we've been celebrating for days! Over the weekend, Lois was celebrated by beloved family and friends, and her church family and Valley View friends gathered for a sweet tea party today.

She was featured in an article in the Lewistown Sentinel on Saturday, and the last paragraph captures her perfectly: "Known for her kindness, faith, and warm spirit, Lois offers simple wisdom: “Be a good person, love God, and just love everyone.” Reflecting on her century of life, she says she is most proud of her parents and the strong family values they instilled.

Happy 100, Lois! 🎂
