We were honored to welcome the Verona High School Chamber and Concert Choirs to Clara Maass for a beautiful holiday performance. Their voices filled our halls with joy and brought smiles to patients, visitors, and staff alike. Thank you for sharing your talent and helping us celebrate the season with music and cheer! A huge thanks goes out to VHS Choir Director Christopher Fludd, Principal Josh Cogdill, Superintendent Diane DiGiuseppe and CMMC’s own proud choir mom Lori Sickinger for bringing this moment to life!

For 54 years (and counting!), Elpidio C. has proudly served Monmouth Medical Center so it's no surprise that the hospital's coordinator, Environmental Services, is so well known there that he's called "the mayor!" The spirit of the season shined bright at our Clara Maass Auxiliary Annual Tree Lighting and Holiday Celebration! Together with our Auxiliary members, team members, patients and community, we gathered to celebrate hope, warmth and the joy that this time of year brings.

Ornaments and lights that adorn our holiday tree, menorah, Kwanzaa kinara and Three Kings Day/ Dia de los Reyes display are donated as part of an annual tradition that honors each contributor’s loved ones and is a fundraiser for the Auxiliary, which has provided philanthropic support to the hospital for 75 years. On behalf of the Clara Maass Auxiliary, we would like to thank everyone who made a donation!

Connie A. joined the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital family in 1995 and has stayed for 30 years! Here, she talks about her career journey with Mark E. Connie started out as a per diem team member in Patient Information, and during her time with us she's taken on roles of increasing responsibility, from lead receptionist to supervisor to manager, Guest Services. She's proud of her work legacy, and we're proud to share her journey with you in the latest episode in our "Look At Me Now" series!
