We were honored to have Dr. Sandra Magnus, US Astronaut, visit and speak to us. She was born in Belleville, IL and attended Belleville West High School. She is the niece of our resident, Phyllis Lang. Sandy flew on the space shuttle 3 times. She spent 4 and 1/2 months on the International Space Station. She was part of the crew for the final space shuttle mission in 2011. Sandy spent a total of 157 days, 8 hours and 42 minutes in space. Thank you Sandy for spending time with us to share your story! We loved having you! 🚀🛰️🚀

Today was the farewell performance of Veronica Mary Agnes. She has brought great joy and music to our community for several years. Today we celebrated her upcoming wedding and move to Pennsylvania. We are grateful to her and wish her much happiness and many blessings. 🎼🪉🎻
