The other day I asked my staff what they are thankful for, and I also shared mineππ½β€οΈ. It was nice to express the feelings of gratitude that I probably don't say often enough.
I am thankful for our small but mighty team -- we are the "quiet grandeur"--we don't have a huge clinic and don't do flashy marketing. But we carry a lot of weight in the quality of our work--we have genuine pride and love for what we do. They teach me a lot and keep me grounded, and for that I am grateful.
I am also grateful for our loyal patients. One of my OG patients, who has been with my since we opened our clinic 6 years ago, came in the other day and we were talking about how much growth this practice has had. This practice has been built upon and is sustained by the trust I share with our patients, and we are so grateful.
Lastly, I am thankful for the growth I had this year and the hope that comes from above. Part of the personal growth was extending a sincere apology when needed, and not letting my ego dictate the outcome. Differences and challenges can come with any situations in life, and the process of repair has been sincere. A professional growth is that I have gotten more efficient in surgery and continue to finess my technical skills.β¨οΈ I am excited to continue learning and improving my expertise.
Happy thanksgiving.π₯§π
