Acne is multi factorial but here are some ways we can try to avoid acne breakouts! Another tip that was not mentioned: Also monitor diet and try to limit high glycemic index foods (sugary desserts, sodas, juices) and cow's milk- all of these factors can lead to inflammation within the oil glands (sorry, milkshakes are the worst!)

Just because hydrocortisone cream is OTC, it doesn’t mean there are no repercussions to using it on your rash or your child’s rash- see your Derm for diagnosis first! Dermatologists get made fun of for always resorting to topical steroids which carries some truth to it but we know how to counsel our patients on proper use so we don’t run into issues of skin thinning.

Just because it can be “zapped” doesn’t mean it should be. ⚡️�Destroying a mole without diagnosing it first can literally mask melanoma.
