Thanksgiving is done.. bring on the Christmas fun! 🎄

Recently, we spent the afternoon using bright geometric blocks to make our own designs and follow simple patterns. The focus was incredible! 🔺▫️🔸

Activities like these are wonderful for keeping minds sharp, strengthening problem-solving skills, and giving fingers a gentle fine-motor workout. Plus, there’s something so calming about piecing everything together one shape at a time. It’s amazing how something so simple can be so engaging and soothing!

Our sense of smell was put to the test during this Thanksgiving ‘Guess the Spice’ game! 🦃

Our residents smelled their way through some common seasonal spices. 👃🏼 Cinnamon was a clear giveaway… but cloves kept everyone guessing! A few spices sparked memories from Thanksgivings past, so we were able to share stories and find some common traditions. ✨

Our creativity was in full bloom this week! 💐

Thanks to Van Zeeland Nursery & Landscape, we got hands-on with winter greens, fresh roses, hydrangeas, and mums—and everyone left with a creation they were proud to show off. ❄️🌹 We are already talking about when they can come back to have more fun with us!

We had an incredible outing to the Barlow Planetarium today! ✨

Residents learned all about the constellations that can be seen right here in Wisconsin- stories, shapes, and a few fun facts along the way. 🌙💫

We wrapped up our visit with a dazzling laser show set to The Beatles, complete with some of our favorite songs that brought back great memories. What a beautiful mix of learning, music, and shared smiles!
