We in WWDP strongly believe in the right to self-defense, and the responsibilities that come with those rights. It's not enough to own fi****ms, you must know how to use them properly. Do you know how to shoot in all situations? From the holster? At night? What about if you are unsure if the assailant is armed? What to do after the bullets fly?

One of the best ways to become proficient with a handgun, especially when carrying concealed, is to attend events by the ADTA (Armed Defense Training Association), the best affordable fi****ms training in the area.

ADTA holds 4 or more events per month, at least two dry-fire and two live-fire. The events are split between South (Des Moines) and North (South Everett). Check their events page and sign up for their email newsletter. They also have excellent training videos on the site.

Happy and safe shooting!

In addition to your eye and ear protection, all participants need to bring their own semi-auto handgun and ammunition. You can rent a gun at the shooting range if you wish.
