Ever feel like your hamstrings are permanently tight? Stretching might be making it worse.
Often, "tight" hamstrings are just overworked. They’re doing the job your glutes: the powerhouse of your body: have stopped doing. When your glutes are "offline," your hamstrings take the hit, leading to tension and cramps.
Try this simple test at home:
1. Lie face down on the floor.
2. Keep your leg straight and lift your heel toward the ceiling.
3. Where do you feel it first?
If your hamstring immediately knots up or does all the lifting, your glutes aren't firing. Just "squeezing" harder won't fix a neurological disconnect.
That’s where we come in. At Major League Activation, we use Muscle Activation Technique (MAT) to find that broken communication line and flip the switch back on.
Whether you’re a pro pitcher in Bellevue or just want to move pain-free in Seattle, you deserve elite-level care. Stop stretching the wrong thing and fix the real problem.
