Together, we provide pediatric healthcare, breastfeeding support, and access to our providers via phone, email and web access 24/7 to parents. Our physicians are nationally board-certified to care for all children: birth to 21 years; newborns, infants, toddlers, children, adolescents and young adults. We offer extended time for office visits. We are concerned with how illness and injuries impacts your child and your family, and focus on prevention. We are parents, and understand the challenges and joy of parenting, as well as the stress of having an ill child. We love watching our patients grow and develop.

Kevy, our dear family member, friend and colleague, passed away unexpectedly in early December. While we have grieved his loss, we know he would want us to celebrate his life, share our memories of him, and reflect on the good he brought to this world. Kevy loved to laugh, was dedicated to his family, friends, and patients, and was committed to improving our community. Please join us as we remember him with our own stories and reflections. Light refreshments will be served.

It is with deep sorrow that we inform you of the unexpected passing of Kevy Wijaya, cherished Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and the Owner and Director of Stepping Stone Pediatrics. He departed from this world on December 9, 2023. Kevy was a passionate leader in our community, beloved family member, dear friend, and excellent primary care provider to many infants, children, adolescents and young adults. He dedicated his life to the well-being of children and their families.
Unfortunately, we are now facing a challenging situation regarding the future of our clinic. As we navigate this uncertain period, please be assured that our primary concern is the well-being of our staff, patients, and the community we serve. We are actively exploring all available options to determine the best course of action for the clinic and those it serves. We plan to have an update in the coming days with additional information. We are currently not scheduling any appointments. If your child has an urgent medical need, please take them to a local urgent care facility.
Our hearts go out to you and your children during this difficult time, and we hope that the memories of Kevy’s wonderful care and guidance bring you comfort.

We are hosting multiple flu and COVID-19 vaccine clinics for our existing patients only, as well as other community vaccination clinics that are open to public.

Details can be found on our website, www.steppingstonepeds.org (wait for a pop-up box upon loading).

More dates will be added as additional vaccines and supplies arrive, please check the website often for updates.

COVID-19 vaccine for young children are here, and we are ready to administer them.

Existing patients of ours can schedule their appointment online using the usual online scheduling system.

We plan on offering the vaccines to the general public on Tuesday, June 28 in collaboration with the Bellevue Family YMCA. Please check their page for more details!

A recent report from the Washington State Department of Health revealed routine childhood immunization rates dropping by 13% in 2021 when compared to pre-pandemic levels (link to report: https://doh.wa.gov/sites/default/files/2022-05/348-867-ChildhoodImmunizationReport2019-2021.pdf)

Stepping Stone Pediatrics is all-hands-on-deck to bring that number back up, especially in some areas in King County. Today, our team spent time teaming up with Highline Public Schools to host a childhood immunization clinic at Glacier Middle School in SeaTac.

We will have another event next week at Mt. Rainier High School in Des Moines. Event flyer and info for pre-registration is attached below.
