We are so excited for the amazing opportunities this team will create for siblings of students with disabilities across Iowa to connect, play, laugh, and share through Sibshops.

For nearly two decades, Kindering has been proud to steward The Sibling Support Project Project (SSP), helping siblings of people with disabilities find community through Sibshops and more.

Soon, the SSP will continue this work under The Sibling Leadership Network (SLN), a long-time partner of Kindering’s and a nonprofit solely dedicated to sibling support. We’re grateful for this shared journey and excited to see the SSP continue to flourish in its new home. 💙

This pic may have been a “6-7!” but our Sibshops Facilitator Certification training this week with Loudoun County Public Schools was a perfect 10! Thanks to Dr. John Walker and the amazing LCPS Social Workers, counselors, and students who so beautifully brought Sibshops to life with us. We are SO excited to see how Sibshops grow across LCPS!
