"Carolyn" from Kristin Lane is included in our current art exhibition, "Changing Seasons." Here's how Kristin described her set of pieces of which "Carolyn" is a part: "Verdanto is a collection of portraits celebrating humanity in harmony with nature. It's an exploration of the intimate relationship we share with the earth—each face telling a story of unity and symbiosis. With Verdanto, I aim to capture the essence of human beauty, infused with elements of the natural world."

We’re excited to share that Nisan Harel has been appointed as our new Chief Executive Officer!
Nisan is familiar to many, as his 17 years at Era Living have included community leadership as Executive Director and most recently as Chief Operating Officer. A 75th wedding anniversary is a rare milestone indeed! Through their lives together, residents Bob and Eleanor Marum have built a legacy of educational leadership, adventure, and community activism. Bonded by Seahawks football, political debates, and good wine, their family is inspired to "love deeply and laugh often." We were honored to host a celebration of their lives together. Happy diamond anniversary, Bob and Eleanor!

Our current art exhibition, "Changing Seasons," continues and includes the beautiful "Peruvian Lilies." Artist Madeline Nelson says, "One of the joys of Peruvian lilies is how long they last as cut flowers, which makes them a perfect subject for a leisurely still life painter like myself. Their supporting cast in this bouquet were tulips, visible to the right in the painting, in the state tulips often are after a day or two indoors—straining towards the light, quietly dropping petals."
