Northwest Behavioral Associates NBA is the Pacific Northwest's oldest Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) provider, founded in 1999.

Northwest Behavioral Associates (NBA) is a highly respected and supported non-profit organization providing behavioral therapy and specialized education for children with autism and pervasive developmental disorders. NBA uses internationally recognized methods of treatment to impact children's lives and to assist and educate the community about this increasing diagnosis. Health agency licensed by the Department of Social and Health Services, under the division of Behavioral Health and Recovery, to provide behavioral, counseling, and psychotherapy services, as well as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services.

NBA is hiring BCBA/LBAs and LABAs! We are currently recruiting a BCBA/LBA to join our Comunity-Based Instruction Program. NBA’s Community Based Instruction program provides learners with the opportunity to successfully access their community and live independently to the fullest extent possible. As a part of NBA, you will not only make a difference in the lives of your learners, but also be a part of a team who cares about you.

NBA Program Managers must be Board Certified Behavior Analysts in good standing. Program Managers should be a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Washington; NBA will facilitate licensure for BCBAs re-locating to the state and will assist credentialing maintenance. NBA Program Managers should have experience directly applying the science of behavior analysis with children, youth, and young adults with disabilities, including direct intervention and individualized program development. It is important that applicants have experience training and supervising Behavior Technicians and working collaboratively with related service providers, school personnel, and the families of the learners with whom they work.

Responsibilities
▪ Provide necessary training and support to BTs who deliver behavioral intervention to children and adults with autism.
▪ Coordinate between departments for staff scheduling and billing purposes
▪ Assist in the development of individualized programming goals
▪ Work in clinic, home, community, and/or virtual telehealth settings
▪ Develop and implement quarterly trainings and scheduled meetings

Qualifications
▪ Master’s degree, BCBA in Good Standing, WA State LBA
▪ Pass a criminal background check
▪ Reliable transportation is required
▪ Enjoy working with both children and adults
▪ Ability to work well in fast-paced collaborative settings
▪ Professional and consistent communicator
▪ Organized and detail oriented
▪ Open and flexible availability necessary

Our Story

Northwest Behavioral Associates (NBA) is the Seattle area’s longest standing nonprofit organization providing behavioral therapy and specialized education for children with autism and related disorders. Founded on September 2, 1999 by five young women with a passion for applied behavior analysis, NBA has continued to use internationally recognized methods of treatment to impact children's lives and to assist and educate the community about this increasing diagnosis.

NBA was was the first agency licensed by the state of Washington to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA services and counseling. Recognized a Behavioral Health Center of Excellence in both 2017 and 2018, NBA proudly serves individuals and their families throughout their lifelong journey on the autism spectrum.
