As a Latina therapist, mother, first gen and daughter of immigrants, I was deeply grateful and blessed to be there. Si se puede! My inner niña was proud to represent my community of moms and therapists of color while supporting parents during this chaotic time.

🌿Motherhood can bring beautiful moments as much as moments when we lose our cool. Let me remind you that the kind of mom you are isn’t defined by the rough moments.

Remember to reframe your self-talk during the hard moments when the guilt is creeping in. Emotional repair is possible and our kids don’t need a perfect mom, they need a real mom that knows how to accept her humanity and imperfections.

🫶🏽 Motherhood is full of ups and downs, some days we thrive, some days we survive. It’s okay if you don’t enjoy every moment. Good moms can love being moms AND also not enjoy every second in motherhood.
