Happy Earth Day, yogis!🌎🌲🌊
Supporting our earth can start with taking care of ourselves, and one of the best ways to do this is to take some time to tune inward. When we come to the mat, close our eyes, return to breath, and observe our thoughts, we start to find the clarity it takes to get to get to know ourselves better. It’s from here that the seeds of change are planted, and as we nurture ourselves, we grow beyond the parameters of who we are as singular beings. We grow to take up space, and we recognize that we can affect real progress, protection, and cultivation of what matters most. We learn to save ourselves as we save our home planet, one breath, one movement, one pause at a time. 🌎🌳❤️
Remembering that yoga is so much bigger than each of us and any one pose, is what brings us deeper into ourselves. It pulls to the surface our ability to see, feel, hear, and acknowledge everything that makes up the world around us. Yoga gives us the tools to know both our inner and outer worlds better, with a full sense of appreciation and gratitude. 🙏
Earth Day may be April 22nd, but we challenge you to connect with the elements inside of you and around you every single day. We are not separate from this place we call home; we are intricately and beautifully connected. 💫
