Big changes for Jubilee Massage Therapy! I've moved to a new location in downtown Bellingham. You can find me now in the Crown Plaza Building, 114 W. Magnolia Street, Suite 206. The building is actually at the corner of Commercial and W. Magnolia, with Sandalwood Spa downstairs on the Commercial side, and Daisy Cafe downstairs on the Magnolia Side.

Plus, there are 8 2-hour parking slots on the Commercial Street side next to Chocolate Necessities. If you snag one of those, you can sign in in the lobby on the Commercial Street side of the building.

There's even a cage for Franca, official emotional support parrot of Jubilee Massage Therapy; looking forward to seeing you there!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I'm sending out a final call for students for my final 2025 Bellingham class, Incorporating the Breasts and Chests. This 16-hour class will take place Sat. and Sun., November 8th and 9th. Cost is $340. August 2025's class in Seattle was fantastic, with a group of 4 from Texas joining 8 WA State LMTs in learning how to meet our state's 16-hour breast massage CE requirement in working therapeutically, safely, and ethically in this often ignored area of the body.

I'm in my 5th year of teaching this wonderful class I inherited from my mentor Barbara Helynn Robles. If you have clients who need help with issues related to lactation, reductions, augmentations, reconstructions, mastectomies, top surgeries, shoulder problems, breathing issues, etc., then this class will act as a major tool in your tool box.

Breast Massage CE in November 2025?

I'm in my 5th year of teaching the wonderful class I inherited from my mentor Barbara Helynn Robles. For anyone who has wanted to take Incorporating the Breasts and Chest in BELLINGHAM, I've added a class for Saturday and Sunday, November 8-9. August 2025's class in Seattle was fantastic, with a group of 4 from Texas joining 8 WA State LMTs in learning how to meet our state's 16-hour CE requirement in working therapeutically, safely, and ethically in this often ignored area of the body.

This class is small by design--between 4 and 8, usually--so that you are comfortable and have lots of 1:1 attention.

As a bonus, I'll be fresh out of my first AnatomySCAPES (https://www.anatomyscapes.com) course. I am SO excited to be adding to my knowledge of the body's tissues through actual dissection, and to pass that on to my students in this important breast/chest class.

This course meets Washington State training requirements for specialized training in breast massage (WAC 246-830-555), and meets NCBTMB CE requirements as well ( #1000798). 2025 is going to be a great year for breast massage!

I am continuing in my 4th year of teaching the breast massage class first developed by my amazing teacher and mentor, Barbara Helynn (Heard) Robles.

I have three 16-hour classes coming up, as we enter the Chinese Year of the Wood Snake.

There are more clients than ever, of all genders, who are in need of healing touch in this area. After taking the required 16 hours of education in breast massage, you will be able to offer this kind of massage-legally in WA State--with care, compassion, and all required forms of consent!

Well, I'm proud to say I'm now a Certified Lactation Educator. Which is not a consultant . . . that takes a lot of case study hours, and I may not get to that point quickly. BUT, it's in my skill set to both massage lactating moms and help them with nursing challenges. Which in my mind, is a potentially AWESOME combo!

I'm spending this 40-hour week doing lactation consultant training at beautiful Bastyr University in Kenmore. Part of my assignment was to draw a breast in lactation with various parts labeled. Nola told me it wasn't really realistic enough because "no breasties have right angles." LOL Okay, okay, I'm a massage therapist, not an artist, and I'm doing the best that I can! 😆

Due to the popularity of our spring squirrel promotion, we are now offering baby squirrels for early fall! Because the squirrel whisperer never came back to block up the hole, Mother Squirrel decided to have her summer litter here as well!

About a month ago, I was on the porch, minding my own business after mass when a squirrel literally ran up the front steps with a blind hairless squirrel pup in her mouth, ran up the post, and defying the laws of physics, jumped through the hole in the ceiling of the porch. In the space of twenty minutes, I watched while she ran across the street to some undisclosed location, and ran back each time with another baby in her mouth. (See video, and yes, that'sa tiny baby in her mouth.)

So yep, In a few months, it'll be more baby squirrels available with your massage!
