Our residents got into the fall spirit this week with a festive pumpkin painting activity! 🍂 From bright autumn colors to spooky Halloween designs, each pumpkin was a masterpiece full of creativity and personality.
It’s always wonderful to see smiles, laughter, and a little friendly competition as everyone shows off their artistic side. 🧡

Come stop by our booth and say "Hello" Fridays this month at one of the local senior centers! 👋
We have partnered with the Whatcom Council on Aging to provide information (and some fun goodies) to the attendees of their “What’s Next: Exploring your Medicare Options” events.
These events are free to attend and are hosted at local senior centers! Each event runs from 10am to 2pm.

Lynden Community/Senior Center Friday, October 17th

🌍☕️ Celebrating International Coffee Day! ☕️🌍
October 1st marks International Coffee Day, a global celebration of one of the world’s favorite beverages — and here at North Cascades, we made sure to join in the fun!
This special day isn’t just about coffee — it’s about connection, comfort, and community. And thanks to the incredible generosity of Woods Coffee, we had plenty of delicious brews to go around! 🙌
Residents and staff gathered to sip, share stories, and celebrate the simple joy a warm cup of coffee brings. Whether it’s a morning ritual or an afternoon pick-me-up, coffee has a unique way of bringing people together — and today reminded us just how meaningful those little moments can be.
A heartfelt THANK YOU to Woods Coffee for donating the coffee that made our International Coffee Day celebration extra special. Your kindness made a world of difference! 🌟

💫Our residents brought their A-game, and the room was buzzing with excitement as they marked their cards and hoped for that winning number. 🏆
Whether it was the thrill of yelling “BINGO!” or just enjoying time with friends, everyone left with a smile. ❤️
Big thanks to our staff and volunteers for making it such a fun and memorable afternoon. We’re already looking forward to next week’s game!

Our talented residents recently came together for a fun and colorful paper lei craft, and the results were as beautiful as the smiles around the table! 🎨✂️🌺
With bright paper flowers, plenty of creativity, and lots of laughter, this hands-on activity brought a little piece of the islands right into our community. It’s always wonderful to see how crafts like these spark conversation, connection, and joy. 💕🌴
