Sacred Space

Running a business, or just working for a living, taking care of a family, or aging parents. Or just living life

Is there a spot or a room in your home, apt, or abode that you can make yours? So that when you feel out of sorts you can go there and retreat or rest for a while undisturbed.
Even outside on the porch or sitting under a tree.

Find a room or a corner where you can put some of your cherished items that are yours. Where you can sit in quiet contemplation when life or your world feels upside down.
Make a sign Do Not Disturb. Put it out when you want to be left alone.

Make that space yours.
Keep it clean and neat.
Make it your sacred space.
No one can enter while you are there.
Your time is sacred.
Your space is sacred just for you. Fill it full of pretty things that make you feel yummy.

Life has been a little crazy lately. I have felt, like my batteries were running dry, out of coins, too many days in a row.
Do you know that energizer bunny? Have you felt like him?

This morning early I came into my space, which I have been away from far too long, and had a good cry. I feel better being in my space. I will come back later and get up in my bio-mat before the end of the day.

My mentor told me to do this daily, To take time for me, to be able to come back to me. I have not followed her direction, but I will from today on.

Making time for me/you is very important no matter what time of day. Early morning or late night. Take time, make time for yourself. It will help you to feel whole.
