Out of an abundance of caution, ReBound is preparing for an overnight weather event that is projected to last through tomorrow. We anticipate that we may have diminished or no in-person services tomorrow, and may be closed to the public. The safety of our patients and staff come first. We will reach out to patients in the morning with an update. If you must drive, please drive safely and allow time to reach your destination. Thank you for your patience and understanding during these challenging times. While we love seeing our patients we do not wish to increase our patient load due to accidents.

Out of respect and concern for one another (as well as Washington State Health Dept and CDC guidelines) we are asking all patients to wear a mask during their time at therapy. If you do not have a mask, we will happily supply you with one to ensure the safety of each of you and your family, as well as our staff and their families. If you have a medical condition that interferes with your ability to wear a mask we will work with you to ensure that you can continue to receive therapy.

Dear ReBound Patients,

I want to thank you all for being patient as we confront unprecedented changes and transitions in the past few weeks. Information has continued to come at us fast and furious and we at ReBound PT OT & Hand Therapy, are committed to keeping your plan of care going as well as providing the highest quality of care we can during this time.
We have maintained strict cleanliness in the clinic; however, we see an increasing need to limit in person visits. This is a difficult decision because so many of you are sitting at home and not getting better because you can’t come to see us. We are excited to offer a new opportunity for continuing your care.
Starting immediately, we are implementing telehealth to allow you to continue to make progress during these challenging times. Your care is of utmost importance to us as a team. We feel strongly that you need to be able to continue to have therapy in whatever capacity we are able to provide it at this time.
We are using a HIPPA compliant application called Doxy.me. As of this coming week we will no longer be functioning in person with the exception of critical cases and will be conducting sessions via telehealth.
If you currently have an appointment and would like to immediately transition to telehealth, please call the clinic and let us know about this. You will need a computer with video, tablet with video or smartphone. Google or Firefox browser. If your computer does not have a microphone you can call into the clinic and request to have a call back from your PT by cellphone. It is very easy to connect. You do not need to download anything onto your computer or phone.
IMPORTANT: There may be times when your provider determines it is better to see a patient in person. Please understand this decision is made to provide patients with the most complete, appropriate care.
The way this will work is that your therapist will email you a link to join the session. You will click on the link. They will be able to see and hear you and you will be able to see and hear them. We are happy to be able to offer this to allow for continued care. You can work on exercises and progressions with your therapist as well as troubleshoot any problems that you might be having.
It is a requirement that you sign a telehealth consent form which will come in a separate email.
We are all in this together and are trying to put your care first as well as ensure that ReBound will still be here when it is safe for you to return to the clinical setting CALL 360-354-5245 *Lynden* or 360-752-1475 *Bellingham* to get started with Telehealth today!
