A little bit of retail therapy never hurt nobody… especially when the items are FREE!

When you donate new or gently used items to WCPC, you play a part in lessening worries of families in our community. Our baby shop is full of baby clothes, blankets, maternity clothes, diapers, wipes, and more. All of these items are free to clients in our Earn While You Learn parenting class program and our free Pop-Up Shops. If you have baby items or maternity clothes that you would like to donate, donations can be dropped off during normal business hours at the front desk!

Why does grief look so different for everyone after pregnancy or infant loss?
Our grief is shaped by many different factors.
Whether you have experienced a baby loss or a loss of a loved one, there are often seven different things that impacts our grief.

1.) Who the Person Was
2.) Nature of Attachment
3.) How They Passed
4.) Personality Differences
5.) Social Support and Community
6.) Other Life Stresses
7.) Previous Losses

Your loss story is never going to look the same as someone else’s… and that’s okay! Here at the Whatcom County Pregnancy Clinic, we are here to support you through your own personal story of pregnancy or infant loss. You are not alone🤍

Please join us in thanking Sherrie for her 18 years of devoted service to the Whatcom County Pregnancy Clinic.

After 18 years of faithful leadership, Sherrie Turner resigned from her role as Executive Director at the end of 2025. Her exceptional tenure is a testament to Sherrie’s heart for the clinic, its staff, and every patient that walked through its doors.
During her time with the ministry, Sherrie successfully grew the Whatcom Pregnancy Clinic in terms of staff and clients served. Under her leadership, the clinic achieved financial stability thanks in large part to Sherrie’s particular gift for public speaking. She could often be found speaking with various groups and organizations around town, building a base of committed donors and supporters. Sherrie elevated the standard of service at the Whatcom Pregnancy Clinic, ultimately helping the clinic achieve the National Standard of Excellence through the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
Under her guidance, the WPC added new service offerings for clients including STI testing and baby weights. She also helped implement new programs and support groups including birthing classes, infant loss support groups and significantly grew the “Earn While You Learn” and Relate programs.
Sherrie has been a true blessing to our clinic, and we are grateful for her incredible dedication and love. On behalf of the board, staff, and volunteers of the clinic, we wish Sherrie many blessings as she embarks on the next stage of her journey.
