Happy Voluntine’s Day!šŸ’
Today we are celebrating a special kind of love — the kind of love that always shows up, is always a listening ear, and is always encouraging.
Our Earn While You Learn clients know that every week when they come and meet with their volunteer mentor, they know they will be greeted with a smile, listened to, and cared for. That’s a dependable, kind, safe love that our Voluntine’s never run out of.šŸ’—
This Valentine’s Day, we want to show how much we love our amazing weekly volunteers. If your mentor has encouraged you along the way to parenthood, spread the love and share a note of appreciation down below.šŸ’›šŸŒ·

Come along with us as we tour our new building before we move in!
This space provides over 7,000 square feet of space which is over 2.5 times more than we had in our previous building. It even comes with a parking lot which means no more street parking for our clients, donors, staff and volunteers! Our previous building only had windows in the very front of our office, so these windows that wrap around the entire facility is sure to bring in a vibrant, inviting atmosphere. Thank you to all the many hands that made this dream a reality! We wouldn’t be here without you.🩵
Reminder: We are closed through February 22nd while we move. We can’t wait to start seeing clients in this new facility!

We are in urgent need of Size 3 Diapers in our baby shop!

Did you know…
• Every week Earn While You Learn clients can come in and use their Baby Bucks to purchase almost a week’s worth of free diapers in our baby shop.
• Babies as young as 4 months old start fitting into size 3 diapers.
• Babies usually stay in size 3 diapers for 5-6 months, which is why size 3 diapers are such a great ā€œstockpile sizeā€ for new parents.

If you would like to donate diapers, you can drop off all donations at the front desk Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm.
Thank you for helping families in our community provide diapers for their baby!

Why does grief look so different for everyone after pregnancy or infant loss?
Our grief is shaped by many different factors.
Whether you have experienced a baby loss or a loss of a loved one, there are often seven different things that impacts our grief.

1.) Who the Person Was
2.) Nature of Attachment
3.) How They Passed
4.) Personality Differences
5.) Social Support and Community
6.) Other Life Stresses
7.) Previous Losses

Your loss story is never going to look the same as someone else’s… and that’s okay! Here at the Whatcom County Pregnancy Clinic, we are here to support you through your own personal story of pregnancy or infant loss. You are not alonešŸ¤
