✨ This afternoon, we had the pleasure of hosting a fascinating presentation on the History of Local Farms 🌾🐄, led by Larry Pearson.

Larry took us on an insightful journey through the evolution of local farming — from early self-sufficient homesteads to thriving commercial enterprises. The presentation highlighted the rich histories of Round Meadow Farm, Cedar Hill Farm, and Maple Farm Dairy 🚜🌽🥛.

It was both informative and truly engaging, offering a wonderful look back at the agricultural roots of local communities. 📖✨

A heartfelt thank you to Larry for sharing his knowledge and helping everyone at the senior center connect with this important piece of local history. 💚👏

🐣✨ The Bellingham Public Library is currently hosting a delightful Peeps Diorama Contest, sponsored by the Bellingham Women of Today, and the creativity on display is absolutely incredible!

Be sure to stop by and check out the “Peepsville Senior Center” diorama — it is filled with wonderful details that truly capture the spirit of our community. From Eva’s Mickey Mouse, Knitter’s Group, and the Giving Tree, to Ladies Tea, Bingo, Billiards, Dial-A-Ride, SDP Chair Volleyball, Joyful Cup Café, State Rep. Soter’s Lobstah Dinner, Joyful Noise, and even a Peep with a walker — every detail is thoughtfully and beautifully done. 💛

👏 A huge thank you to everyone involved in creating these amazing displays!

🎶✨ Yesterday, our Joyful Noise group had a wonderful time sharing the stage at Up Front Guitar! 🎸🎤

They opened the show with “Jambalaya,” featuring George on harmonica 🎵, and followed it with a lovely performance of “I Walk the Line.” 🎶

It was a joyful afternoon filled with music, smiles, and great company. Everyone had a fantastic time, and we are so proud of our talented group for representing the Bellingham Senior Center so beautifully! 💙

🇺🇸 The Bellingham Senior Center will be closed on Monday, April 20th in observance of Patriots’ Day.

Patriots’ Day is a special Massachusetts tradition that honors the brave men and women of Lexington and Concord, whose courage marked the beginning of the American Revolution and our nation’s fight for independence ❤️🤍💙

It is also the day we celebrate another beloved tradition — the Boston Marathon 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💙💛 Wishing all the runners, volunteers, and spectators a wonderful Marathon Monday!
