One of my young patients was hesitant to have his eyes dilated — something so many people feel. But thankfully, he agreed.

During the exam, I discovered papilledema, a dangerous sign of increased intracranial pressure.

He was sent straight to the ER… and that decision changed everything.

This is why comprehensive eye exams matter. They’re not just about seeing clearly, they’re about protecting your overall health, your brain, your sight, and sometimes your life.
