As our residents rang in the new year, we were reminded of a simple truth we live by at Holy Angels: however different, we are all able. ✨

Each day, we see our residents set goals, try new things and surprise even themselves. Their journeys remind us that every one of us possesses unique gifts and the ability to grow, achieve and contribute in meaningful ways — especially when surrounded by love and support.

Here’s to new beginnings, shared celebrations and another year of growing together.

The Mercy Moments and special celebrations you see at Holy Angels don’t happen on their own. They’re made possible by many hands working together — staff, families, volunteers and donors — all playing a part in the lives of our residents.

This year-in-review highlights just a few of the people who show up every day to keep things running, bring joy into our homes and help our residents live their best lives.

As we welcome 2026, we’re deeply grateful for each person who blesses this mission with their time, talent and heart.

Our Holy Angels sponsored businesses reopen tomorrow, Saturday, 12/27, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Treat the kids (and yourself!) to a larger-than-life Snowman cotton candy spin at Cotton Candy Factory, sip a holiday coffee flight or chiller at Spruced Goose Station: Fresh Eats & Treats, or stop by Cherubs Cafe for a festive Grinch milkshake and our famous chicken salad.

You can also discover beautiful art and gifts from local and resident artists at Bliss Gallery, and find boutique treasures and handmade gifts at Market on Main Belmont.

Come shop, sip and celebrate the season while supporting our mission — we can’t wait to see you! 💜

Few moments capture the heart of Christmas at Holy Angels quite like our Annual Live Nativity and Christmas Mass. ✨

Check out these photos from one of our most cherished traditions — and for many staff, families and supporters, the true highlight of the holiday. Seeing our residents reenact the Nativity reminds us why this season matters and fills our hearts with reverence, joy and love.

This year’s Christmas Mass was especially meaningful as Father Dennis Kuhn, who served for decades as the beloved Narrator of the Christmas Story, stepped forward to lead us as the Celebrant. We were blessed by many generous gifts of talent and devotion, including the Moonglows with John Brincefield, Kent Bernhardt and Kay Peeler on the organ; the inspiring Holy Angels Handbell Choir led by Jessica Alberto; and the Holy Angels Dance Troupe guided by Heather Ramsey, Christy Corder and Stella Bommarito.

To our residents, musicians, leaders and all who gathered with us — thank you for sharing your gifts and helping bring the story of Christmas to life in such a moving and meaningful way. 💜🎄

Today, on Dec. 20, we celebrate 70 years of Holy Angels — a mission born in mercy, sustained by faith, and carried forward by love.

In honor of this milestone, we’re sharing a poem written especially for Holy Angels by Kurma Murrain, who spent months listening to our stories, walking our campus and capturing the mercy moments that define this place. Written from the perspective of our first resident, Maria Morrow, the poem reflects on unity, community and how love continues to multiply here.

We are deeply grateful to Kurma for this beautiful gift and for helping us mark this sacred moment. As we look back on 70 years — and forward to what’s still to come — one truth remains clear: Love leads the way.
