The Nexus residents enjoyed a wonderful Gardening Club today! With spring in the air, everyone had a great time getting their hands in the soil, planting, and talking about their favorite flowers and plants. The sunshine, fresh air, and the simple joy of gardening brought smiles to everyone’s faces.

Moments like these remind us how meaningful it is to connect with nature. Watching something grow that you planted yourself brings such a sense of purpose and happiness. Our residents truly embraced the spirit of the season, and it was beautiful to see the excitement and pride in their work.

Our Nexus residents had a fabulous adventure at the Academy of Sciences!

It was a beautiful day filled with exploration, curiosity, and lots of smiles as our residents enjoyed discovering the wonders of science and nature. From colorful fish and fascinating exhibits to the incredible sights throughout the museum, there was something exciting around every corner.

Outings like this remind us that learning and discovery never stop. Our residents loved experiencing the exhibits, sharing conversations, and simply enjoying a day out together.

Today we want to give a huge THANK YOU to our amazing Maintenance Team for everything they do to keep our community running smoothly each and every day! Their hard work often happens behind the scenes, but it never goes unnoticed.

A very special appreciation goes out to Gary, our Director of Plant Operations, who is always working on countless projects to make our community safer, more beautiful, and comfortable for everyone. Your dedication and leadership mean so much to all of us!

Astronomy Club Was Out of This World Today!
Today our residents had a stellar time during Astronomy Club as we explored the wonders of the solar system together. We talked about the planets, the stars above us, and the incredible mysteries of space. There were lots of smiles, laughter, and “wow” moments as everyone shared what they remembered about the night sky.

One of the highlights of the day was when each resident received their very own astronaut name! From brave space explorers to cosmic captains, our residents proudly embraced their new identities and imagined themselves traveling among the stars.

Programs like this spark curiosity, encourage conversation, and remind us that learning never stops no matter our age. Today we didn’t just look up at the stars we became part of the adventure.

The Nexus residents sure know how to eat right!

We had a wonderful brunch outing at Maple in Palo Alto, and it was filled with delicious food, laughter, and great company. From fresh fruit to tasty brunch favorites, every bite was enjoyed and every moment was special.

Outings like these are such a beautiful reminder that food brings people together and creates meaningful experiences. Our residents truly enjoyed the atmosphere, the flavors, and the joy of being out and about together.

Our Nexus residents enjoyed a beautiful outing to the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo, and what a magical day it was!

From watching the playful animals to soaking up the sunshine, there were smiles everywhere. Many of our residents shared that they felt like kids again full of wonder, laughter, and joy. These moments of connection, curiosity, and pure happiness are what make our Nexus program so special.

Thank you to all of our wonderful Silverado families who joined us for our monthly Family Meeting!

We were excited to introduce two incredible new members of our team our new Social Worker, Danica, and our new Nexus Director, Nancy. Families also had the opportunity to learn more about Memory Air.

The evening was filled with delicious food, thoughtful conversation, and heartfelt connection. It was a great opportunity for families and our leadership team to spend time together, share ideas, and continue building the strong sense of community that makes Silverado so special.

Sunshine, fresh air, and smiles all around!

There is nothing better than getting outdoors and soaking up some natural Vitamin D. Our walk today was filled with beautiful weather, great conversation, and so many happy moments together.

Spending time outside is not only refreshing, but it also helps boost our mood, energy, and overall well-being. It was truly an amazing time enjoying nature and each other’s company.
